Clark County Museum is a hidden gem in Las Vegas. It is easy to find and offers great value for the price of admission. Visitors of all ages will enjoy the museum, especially children who are given a booklet and pencil for a fun treasure hunt. My grandchild was engaged and attentive throughout the visit. It takes about 2 hours to explore the entire museum at your own pace. I highly recommend a visit to Clark County Museum.

What I Disliked

The Clark County Museum in Las Vegas is a must-visit spot for locals and tourists with a love for history. It is an affordable activity for families, students, history buffs, and anyone looking for something new to do. The property is much larger than I anticipated with so much to see. I went for the first time with a friend and we spent about 2-3 hours exploring, but you could easily spend less time if you prefer. The map provided was helpful in navigating the property and the staff suggested the best way to tour the area. The variety of buildings that have been moved to the museum are fascinating to see and learn about. The Mid-Century Modern styles and designs really caught my attention. Each part of Clark County's history is showcased, allowing visitors to see how life was built in the area. Having grown up near a similar museum in Illinois, visiting the Clark County Museum brought back nostalgia. I can't praise this museum enough and I am looking forward to returning soon!

The Clark County Museum is a beautiful place to visit. The exhibits feature sound effects that enhance the experience. After touring the indoor displays, visitors can explore the 25-acre property, including houses, a wedding chapel, and outdoor exhibits. Walking through the houses and seeing the mannequins set up to represent real people who once lived there is quite fascinating. You can also relax outside and admire the historic houses. The gift shop offers a variety of items, including books like "Las Vegas Then and Now" for $19. The museum also has exhibits related to the Native American history of Las Vegas. Additionally, there is a beauty pageant exhibit featuring a local contestant's crowns and trophies. Overall, the museum offers a mix of interesting displays and outdoor attractions for visitors to enjoy.

The Clark County Museum in Las Vegas exceeded my expectations. The replica Main Street featuring six full-size houses from various eras in the valley was impressive. The small train yard with real train cars added to the charm of the outdoor walking paths. The indoor museum was also a must-see. All of this for just $2 per person was a great deal.

We really enjoy the museum and touring the vintage homes that have been moved to the site. The museum recently had a two day Christmas event where all the houses are decorated. The Green Valley HS choir performed some awesome Christmas carols and, of course, free hot chocolate and Santa 🎅. We appreciate the work that goes into making this a fun event for the whole family.

Better than expected. They have a replica Main Street with six full-size houses from different eras of our valley. They have a small train yard with real train cars. Also little outdoor walking paths. And an indoor museum. All for $2 per person.
