Visit SiteCowboy Trail Rides accommodates riders ages 7 years and up. The rides vary in length from 1 hour and thirty minutes to two hours. Choose your adventure based on the duration of the ride, and just what you are most interested in seeing. One ride skirts an ancient fossil ridge, where you can view ancient caves and geologic forms. Another may emphasize desert wildlife, such as coyotes, bobcats, and others. You could even catch a glimpse of the wild burros as they meander across the desert mesa, or even watch you from above as you wind your way into a gorge.
The peace of a natural experience with Cowboy Trail Rides is a far cry from the hyperactivity of Las Vegas. It may be just the break you need - a day as a real cowboy before heading back to the neon variety to be found in Sin City.

A highlight of my latest visit to Vegas was undoubtedly the Cowboy Trail Rides experience. I reserved a 9 a.m. trail ride, and I can't recommend it enough! March offered perfect weather, but I do wonder how the heat might affect the ride in summer. The landscape is stunning, with an array of gorgeous rock formations to admire. The horses are noticeably well-treated and expertly navigate the trail. Most of the ride went smoothly, with only a few minor detours off the main path for a bit of fun! I felt completely secure throughout and am already eager for a repeat adventure🐎!

We recently had a corporate event at Cowboy Trail Rides and it was a fantastic experience. The food, band, and service were all top-notch. We especially enjoyed the cozy fireplace and the opportunity to roast marshmallows. The location, just outside of Las Vegas, was perfect. We did struggle a bit with the line dancing, so we'll have to brush up on our skills before returning next year!

I recently went on the sunset horseback riding trail with Cowboy Trail Rides and it was absolutely stunning. The trail meandered through BLM land with Joshua trees and a backdrop of mountains as the sun set, creating a serene atmosphere. Our guides, Marie and Kellie, were fantastic - kind, informative, and friendly. It was a truly beautiful ride and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nevada. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in the area!

I had an amazing experience at Cowboy Trail Rides in Las Vegas! The staff, Kelly, Maria, and Romey, were fantastic - they made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the ride. They also had a great sense of humor! I highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting Vegas who wants to do something off the strip. The scenery was absolutely stunning! Each horse had its own unique personality, and I had a great time riding Prince, who was incredibly gentle. Despite the chilly weather and some rain, this was definitely the highlight of my trip. I only wish I could have stayed out there longer. Kudos to Cowboy Trail Rides for a job well done!

We opted for the sunset ride and BBQ dinner, and the food was top-notch with generous portions. Roasting marshmallows and sipping hot chocolate by the fire pit was a cozy touch. The guides were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this experience!
