Do this trail if you can. Awesome. Ups and downs. Full-on views. Take more water and food than you need — supply points are scarce.

Really nice hiking trail to go on. Pretty straight forward, pretty much a consistent way up, and a consistent way down. There is not alot of ups and downs throughout the trail.

My husband & I really enjoyed this trail. It's very strenuous compared to most of the paved bike paths I have ridden. We rode it clockwise from Boulder Beach. It started with a nice, gradual sustained climb into Boulder City on the old rail grade. After that are plenty of rollers with steeper gradient & more elevation gain. After the high point there are some steep, curvey sections on the decent. Definitely a leg workout. The climb would be steeper going counter clockwise. Nice views of the mountains & Lake Mead. 34 miles. Bring plenty of water. We only noticed one on trail fill up spot.

This was an easy trail for avid hikers. Beautiful view from the top and the trail is marked well. I prefer more of a challenge trail but highly recommend for beginners.
