About MGM Grand Spa & Salon

The Grand Spa is built for a conventional resort-spa day, with massages, skincare, and body treatments supported by separate wet areas containing saunas and whirlpools. Guests with a spa treatment can use the facilities throughout the treatment day, while the adjacent Grand Salon handles hair, nail, and beauty services. Salon-only reservations do not necessarily include spa access.

The spa and its facilities currently operate daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; the salon opens at 10 a.m., and the fitness center opens at 6 a.m. Guests must be at least 18 and present identification to enter the spa facility. Arriving 30 minutes early leaves time for check-in, changing, and amenities before the scheduled service.

A 20% service charge is added to spa and salon services and distributed to staff, with extra gratuity optional. Cancellations generally require at least four hours' notice to avoid the full charge. Confirm the current treatment price and facility entitlement when reserving, since older discounts and menu prices may no longer apply.

I have been a patron of the MGM Grand Spa & Fitness Center for many years. While the spa is decent, it is in need of some renovations compared to other spas in the area. I am surprised that they have not scheduled one yet. It would be nice to see some upgrades, such as a cold therapy tub or room. During my recent visit, I noticed that the tile around the hot tubs is cracked and the hot tub itself has not been functioning properly for the last few years. The spa menu has also decreased in offerings over the years, which is disappointing. Services such as body scrubs, cupping, private spray tans, and day passes are no longer available. With the abundance of spas in Vegas, I believe MGM Grand Spa & Fitness Center needs to make some changes to stand out. Although there have been some setbacks, the service providers at the spa are consistently excellent. Sammy, in the men's spa, is particularly outstanding. I have always had a great experience with facials and massages here. Despite the issues, I will continue to visit and hope to see improvements in the future.

Lovely day spent away from the buzz of the strip - well needed after a busy week. No communal area for couples - suprised to find after we had paid that men and women are kept separate in the spa. Turned out to be wuote nice that you could concentrate on relaxing. Lots of amenities- water, coffee, apples and magazines. Pool area clean, sauna could have been hotter but still lovely. Changing areas well looked after, showers lots of towels, razor and shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided. Hairdryer and straighteners, make up remover and hairbrushes. We went out of pool season so didn't have swimsuits - Front desk only sell mens swimwear, shops close by were $180 for a pool party type swimsuit. We went to burlingtons nearby and kitted ourselves out for $20.
