How do I justifiably describe beauty? The place has so much to offer. You can do mini climbs, hike, see mini falls, enjoy the nature of God, the rocks, the adventures, etc! They are open in different seasons, but note to schedule before coming here and come early because it gets packed (just the entrance). Animal-friendly and family-friendly. They have a free pass for elementary kids to sign up online for the yearly pass—the best local spot, in my opinion.

What a wonderful place to visit and spend a half day after our hectic Vegas trip schedule. Breathtaking views, scenic drives, miles and miles of trails. Not to forget the innovatively designed visitors center with tonnes of information to learn everything about rock formation and relevant geology information. Recommend to visit late morning hours to enjoy the park. Just pay the $20 entry fee per vehicle and enjoy the whole day at the park.

I recently visited Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area for the first time and was amazed by its beauty. Despite some cloudy and drizzly weather, we still enjoyed glimpses of blue skies. The park is well laid out and simple to explore. I look forward to returning on a sunnier day to spot the tortoises! If you find yourself in the Las Vegas area, a trip to Red Rock Canyon is a must-do!

A day pass (approximately $25 in 2024) provides entry to the visitor center, scenic loop drive, and all hiking trails. It's important to only stop at designated areas along the loop, but there are plenty of photo opportunities and well-marked trails at these stops. Additionally, restrooms are available at the more prominent scenic viewpoints.

I visited Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Las Vegas and used my America the Beautiful pass to do the scenic loop. The facility was clean, spacious, and the air conditioning kept it very comfortable inside. Many other visitors were also enjoying the scenic drive and views. Although the hiking trails looked fun, I decided not to venture too deep with my young child due to the heat. Nonetheless, I was able to do some hiking and enjoy the area.

Red Rock Canyon is a wonderful destination for a family getaway. The stunning landscapes and vibrant red rock formations make it a sight to behold. With plenty of trails suitable for all ages, it's a fantastic place for family hikes and adventures. The peaceful beauty of the canyon offers a great escape from the busyness of everyday life. After stopping at the visitor center, we completed the scenic driving loop at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Las Vegas. The temperature was hot at 104 degrees Fahrenheit, so we opted not to hike any of the trails and instead took pictures at various parking lots. The park was not crowded, so finding parking was easy. The stunning views of the desert and rocks can still be appreciated from the car if you are unable to walk in the heat. I look forward to returning in the cooler months to explore the trails. The beauty of the landscape at Red Rock Canyon is truly remarkable and leaves a lasting impression.

The scenic drive route allows visitors to see many beautiful sites, but be prepared for hiking as some trails require agility due to elevation changes and rocky paths. Plan to spend the day exploring the various trails and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

All I have to say is all of Red Rock Canyon is one of the most beautiful places I have seen and experience. I come from south Texas so seeing red rock is a majestic masterpiece in its own right. We come out here once a week always new things to explore. New spots to find and wildlife. You hold something very special in my heart red rock canyon. Especially on my drives and I see your majestic beauty. Everyone should enjoy this serene place rather it be a small walk or a daring climb or an escape from the Vegas valley. I

Had a lovely afternoon trip with the family to the Canyon. Beautiful open space with stunning rock formations. Saw a little wild rabbit near the visitor center. Definitely fill up on water before the drive especially if you're hiking. We were able to follow a hike into the Canyon. It was sad to see that someone vandalized the water hole but it was easy enough to ignore. So many tadpoles in there! Not too strenuous. Great place to go to get away from the Las Vegas chaos.

Great place for Camping. Beautiful scenery. Fantastic place to get away from the hustle and bustle and craziness you find in Las Vegas. Plus the temperatures are about 20° to 40° cooler. Recommend this for a get away or a quiet relaxing afternoon.

Beautiful place not far from Las Vegas. If you're visiting Vegas and got tired of the madness of casinos, restaurants, and shows, this place can provide a nice respite and is only 40m away from the strip (by car). There are also tours directly from Las Vegas for those who don't want to drive. We went during the summer so hiking was off the menu. At least on the maps, the trails are well mapped and should be pleasant to hike during more moderate weather. I also heard they have E-bike tours which seems like an interesting option. Even if you only have an hour or two, there's a one way loop around the park with very nice views. Many stops (but not all) have a restroom open to the public. Drive slowly and stop around to enjoy the views. Entrance fee was $23 (as of July/2023) per car. The place is clean and well documented so I felt that the experience was more than worth the price charged.

First time exploring Red Rock Canyon, and it's beautiful. We went outside of the boardwalk and hiked up and down the hills, which wasn't too bad. I did borrow a hiking stick for about 5 minutes as it is definitely rocky and there are a lot of loose rocks. This was only one of the areas. I plan to explore more. Bathrooms are available and were clean the day we went. Phone and text signal is spotty when inside the park.

Epic! Exceptional!! I was COMPLETELY amazed by the display of nature and rolling, picturesque viewpoints. You get a good sense that it's a sacred expanse. It is well worth the price of the ticket driving through. We stopped to take a brief hike on one of many viewpoint/stops, with plenty of parking and lots of pleasant fellow patrons to add to the overall positive experience. At the entrance gate, the attendant was so friendly and warm. We will happily be back!

I grew up visiting here, and I always love coming back. There is great variety in the various trails available. There are different lengths and difficulty levels, but something for everyone. Each provides unique opportunities, but none feels like you are missing out because it is special in its own way. Even the really short hikes (less than 1/2 mile) have something unique. Rock climbers have some fantastic climbing opportunities (beginner all the way to advanced). Research which climbs are good for time of day and seasons. The desert heat can be brutal, but there are areas that shade provides a respite and the canyon breezes can be helpful, depending on the area.

It’s a truly breathtaking drive, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. The scenic drive is a must, but be warned it has a lot of twists and turns so could make some people car sick. There are a lot of pit stops to get out and rest and take pictures as well.
