About Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition tells the story of the ship through objects recovered from the wreck site and the individual passengers and crew connected to them. The 25,000-square-foot installation includes luggage, whistles, floor tiles, a window frame and even an unopened 1900-vintage bottle of champagne. Its signature object is the Big Piece, a roughly 15-ton section of Titanic’s hull.

Full-scale recreations give the artifacts context. Visitors move through versions of passenger cabins, the Grand Staircase and an expanded outer Promenade Deck cooled to evoke the frigid Atlantic night. The combination of genuine material and theatrical environments makes the exhibition accessible to casual visitors while leaving plenty for maritime-history enthusiasts to study.

Most visits take about 60 to 90 minutes, though detail-oriented guests can spend longer. An audio guide, a historically researched virtual-reality experience and select weekend guided tours may be available as upgrades. Photography and bag policies can be restrictive, so review the current rules before arriving.

Adult admission is currently listed at $43, with lower child, senior, military and Nevada-local rates; children three and younger enter free. Hours shift during parts of the year and last admission is one hour before closing. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Choose the ticket by what you want included. Standard entry, a guided tour and the VIP package are different products; the current VIP offer includes admission, VR, an audio guide and a souvenir. Do not assume those extras come with every ticket. If you also want to visit BODIES at Luxor, ask the box office about the combined admission option.

Leave backpacks and suitcases at your hotel: Luxor prohibits them inside the exhibition and screens other bags. Check the last-entry time separately from closing time, especially if you plan to visit after an afternoon show. A discounted ticket may require qualifying identification at the box office, so bring the documentation associated with the offer you intend to use.

Very unique exhibition showcasing some of the previously thought to never be seen again artifacts. Includes both artifacts that were brought back from the ocean floor and carefully restored and others that were meticulously recreated. I do think the exhibition is a little bit on the pricer side however.

If you're a fan of Titanic memorabilia, you'll find plenty to see at the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition in Las Vegas. However, some visitors may be disappointed by the limited number of real artifacts on display. The exhibition relies heavily on replicas and dynamic lighting to create an exciting atmosphere. While the experience may feel somewhat lacking in substance, the clever money-making strategy is evident. One highlight is receiving a boarding pass with passenger details that allows you to discover their fate at the end of the exhibition. Overall, some may feel that the exhibition is more focused on profit rather than providing a comprehensive historical experience.

This exhibit/dedication was truly amazing. It is definitely one of the best museums I have visited. The display of artifacts seemed endless and I highly recommend visiting if you are in Vegas. I also had the opportunity to purchase a unique souvenir - a coin with coal from an expedition. The employees were all very friendly and attentive. Thank you all for a memorable experience.
