October opens with a strong choice of concert nights in Las Vegas: Jack White at Fontainebleau, New Kids on the Block at Dolby Live, Josh Groban at Caesars Palace and The Grass Roots downtown. Stay through Sunday for Jeff Dunham at Planet Hollywood. Add Tiësto at OMNIA on Friday and Alesso at Palm Tree Beach Club on Saturday for a nightclub or pool-party outing. Here are seven picks for October 2–4, 2026, with the dates and booking details that matter.
Concert and comedy schedules checked September 30, 2026; nightclub and pool-party additions checked October 2, 2026. All times are local Las Vegas time. Official venue or artist information and dated ticket listings support these selections. Schedules can change; check your chosen date again before travel. A listed performance is not a guarantee of seats at a particular price.

The weekend at a glance
Build a weekend that works
- Choose one Friday anchor. Four of these picks start at 8 p.m. on Friday. Treat them as alternatives, not a concert-hopping itinerary.
- Use Saturday for a second residency. New Kids on the Block and Josh Groban both have Saturday dates, giving you room to pair either with a different Friday pick.
- Keep dinner close to the venue. Allow time for resort walks, screening and transportation. Downtown and the Strip are separate parts of the evening’s travel plan.
- Compare the exact product. A standard seat, VIP upgrade and hotel package can have different inclusions. Review the final total, date and cancellation terms.
Jack White
- Friday, October 2 • 8 p.m. • BleauLive Theater, Fontainebleau
Jack White and his band bring their 2026 tour to BleauLive Theater, with Spring Breeding announced as the opening act. For a weekend built around a live band, this is the pick to put at the center of Friday night. Fontainebleau confirms the October 2 engagement; the dated ticket listing gives an 8 p.m. start.
This is a phone-free performance. Read the device-pouch instructions before arriving and agree on a meeting point with friends in advance. Ticketmaster permits standing during the performance, so consider sightlines when comparing seats. A ticket-and-hotel package is a separate product: compare its actual room nights and seats with booking them separately.
New Kids on the Block: The Right Stuff
- Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 • 8 p.m. • Dolby Live, Park MGM
New Kids on the Block give the weekend two chances to catch The Right Stuff at Dolby Live. Pick Friday if Saturday already has a dinner or show on the calendar; choose Saturday if you want Friday free for another concert. Both performances are scheduled for 8 p.m., with separate tickets for each date.
Read premium-seat descriptions carefully. Ticketmaster specifically warns that a banquette ticket does not automatically include the Right Stuff VIP package. Decide whether you want a particular seat location or additional package benefits before comparing prices, and check that everyone in your group is looking at the same night.

Josh Groban: GEMS
- Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 • 8 p.m. • The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
Josh Groban opens the October run of GEMS with Friday and Saturday performances at the Colosseum. The residency announcement describes a mix of career favorites and newer material. This is our choice for a weekend evening centered on a singer and the songs, with a resort dinner before the show if that suits your plans.
Both nights begin at 8 p.m. The ticket terms recommend ages six and older and require a ticket for every attendee. Patrons may stand during the performance; a reserved seat does not promise an unobstructed seated view throughout. Compare the final total and section before choosing between dates.

The Grass Roots
- Friday, October 2 • 8 p.m. • The Showroom at Golden Nugget • 21+
The Grass Roots make Friday a reason to head downtown. Golden Nugget lists the group in its showroom at 8 p.m., and the correct October 2 Ticketmaster page confirms the date and venue. Choose this one for a classic-pop and rock concert paired with an evening around Fremont Street.
This performance is restricted to guests 21 and older. Keep the evening geographically simple: dinner downtown avoids squeezing a Strip-to-downtown transfer between reservations. The venue calendar’s ticket button led to an older January performance during our check; use the dated October 2 event below and confirm that date before paying.
Jeff Dunham: Artificial Intelligence
- Sunday, October 4 • 7 p.m. • PH Live, Planet Hollywood
Jeff Dunham closes out our weekend picks with Artificial Intelligence at PH Live. His ventriloquism and character exchanges offer a different kind of evening from Friday and Saturday’s concerts. The dated ticket page lists Sunday, October 4 at 7 p.m., making this a useful anchor for anyone staying through Sunday night.
The seller recommends ages six and older and requires every attendee to have a ticket. Make your own judgment about the comedy before bringing children; ventriloquism does not make this a children’s puppet show. If you are leaving Las Vegas that night, do not assume a running time when planning airport transportation.
Tiësto at OMNIA
- Friday, October 2 • Opens 10:30 p.m. • Caesars Palace • 21+
Make Friday a club night with Tiësto. Presale general admission requires arrival before midnight for guaranteed entry; allow time for the resort walk and screening. Bring acceptable original photo ID. The opening is not a confirmed headline-set time. Compare standard entry, VIP bar-card tickets and Party Pass inclusions before buying.
Alesso at Palm Tree Beach Club
- Saturday, October 3 • Opens 11 a.m. • MGM Grand • 21+
Put a pool party on Saturday’s calendar with Alesso. Presale general admission requires arrival before 1 p.m. for guaranteed entry, with acceptable original photo ID. An 11 a.m. opening is not a promise of Alesso’s set time. Compare entry with a reserved daybed or cabana if your group needs seating or shade.
Where to stay and what to compare
Choose your main event before choosing your hotel. A room near your theater can simplify the evening, while a downtown stay makes more sense if Fremont Street is the focus. Compare room totals including mandatory fees, parking and cancellation terms; a package is useful only when its dates and inclusions fit your trip.
