LAS VEGAS — The Underground speakeasy and distillery at The Mob Museum has released 300 Stewart Reserve, a small-batch straight bourbon made entirely from corn and aged for 37 months in new charred oak barrels.
At a glance: The 90-proof bourbon is available now in 375 mL bottles for $45.95. The release is limited to 1,047 bottles, and The Underground will celebrate its debut on Sept. 19, 2026.
What is 300 Stewart Reserve?
300 Stewart Reserve is The Underground’s first straight bourbon. It was produced in the attraction’s on-site distillery from a 100% non-GMO, food-grade corn mash, using the distillery’s selected cuts of its house-made moonshine.
The bourbon was aged untouched in new charred oak barrels for 37 months and bottled at 45% alcohol by volume, or 90 proof. Its name refers to The Mob Museum’s home inside the historic federal building at 300 Stewart Avenue in Downtown Las Vegas.

Flavor profile and selection
The Museum describes the bourbon’s aroma as apple and creamy caramel. Its stated tasting notes include cinnamon, apple pie, brown sugar, oak, honey and leather, with a rich and silky texture.
During development, The Mob Museum asked wine and spirits expert Matt McColl and an avid bourbon collector to taste three potential expressions without knowing which was which. The release says both tasters independently selected the Museum’s charred-oak-barrel expression after trying the samples neat and then with several drops of water.
Release celebration set for Sept. 19
The Underground will host a 300 Stewart Reserve release celebration on Saturday, Sept. 19. The announced program includes live music by Coco and The Sidecars and a meet-and-greet with Distillery Manager David Vondrasek, who will discuss the bourbon and answer questions.
A limited-time Gold Rush cocktail is also available for $16 through Sept. 20. The drink combines 300 Stewart Reserve, honey and lemon, with an optional egg white.
How the bourbon was made
The Underground has distilled 100% unaged corn whiskey moonshine since 2018. For this project, the distillery filled two 53-gallon barrels and one five-gallon barrel, all made from new charred oak, using its corn moonshine. The Museum says the bourbon was complete in February 2026.
The release joins The Underground’s lineup of house-distilled moonshine, house-brewed beer and Prohibition-inspired cocktails. Learn more about the attraction, its location and visitor information in the iGoVEGAS guide to The Mob Museum.
