Las Vegas hotels with clearly advertised free parking include Treasure Island on the Strip, South Point south of the Strip, the Station Casinos resort hotels, and Sam’s Town. The Signature at MGM Grand also states that registered guests receive complimentary valet parking for one vehicle per reservation.
Best free-parking hotel groups
- On the Strip: Treasure Island advertises free self-parking and valet.
- South of the Strip: South Point offers free garage, outdoor and valet parking.
- West and Henderson: Station Casinos properties advertise complimentary self-parking and valet.
- East valley: Sam’s Town lists free covered parking and valet.
- Guest-only exception: The Signature includes valet for one vehicle per reservation.
Free parking on the Las Vegas Strip
Treasure Island is the standout. Its official guest-services page says the self-parking garage is always free for hotel and casino guests and the valet is complimentary, with a gratuity suggested. The garage connects to the hotel by pedestrian bridge and operates 24 hours, subject to the property’s terms and availability.
The Signature at MGM Grand is a more specific exception. Its FAQ says registered guests receive complimentary valet parking for up to one vehicle per reservation. When its valet reaches capacity, redirected vehicles receive a complimentary MGM Grand parking pass. That benefit does not mean every visitor to MGM Grand parks free.
Free parking at off-Strip casino resorts
South Point advertises free garage, outdoor and valet parking. Its location works well for drivers headed toward Henderson, regional sports facilities or Interstate 15, but a visitor should compare the extra drive with the savings when every activity is on the center Strip.
Station Casinos lists complimentary self-parking and valet at Red Rock Resort, Durango, Green Valley Ranch, Palace Station, Boulder Station, Santa Fe Station and Sunset Station. Their neighborhoods differ dramatically; free parking cannot make the wrong location convenient.
Free does not always mean unlimited or universal
A hotel can reserve a free garage for registered guests, casino guests or rewards members. Oversize vehicles, event periods, EV charging, abandoned vehicles and valet gratuities can follow separate rules. “First hour free” at a paid garage is not the same benefit as free overnight hotel parking.
Special-event operations can also redirect entrances or temporarily limit valet. Save the current hotel policy with the reservation and confirm again before a major race, game, festival or holiday weekend.
When paying for parking is still the better value
An off-Strip hotel with free parking can cost more overall when the group makes several daily Strip round trips, pays for destination parking or uses rideshare after drinking. A center-Strip hotel with a parking charge can win on total time and transportation.
Compare the room, tax, resort fee, parking, fuel and the itinerary as one package. Then read whether you should rent a car in Las Vegas. A free space has no value on a trip that never needed a vehicle.
