After several years away, I recently returned to Chimera Golf Club in Las Vegas and found it just as impressive as I remembered. Our small group was warmly welcomed, and everything ran smoothly. The course was in fantastic shape, with the greens playing at a slower pace that suited us well since we weren’t seeking a pro-level challenge. Although one of our groups fell behind schedule, the Marshalls were polite in reminding us to maintain our pace with the group ahead. The beverage cart made frequent rounds, and we enjoyed relaxing with drinks and snacks at the clubhouse afterwards. This course offers excellent value compared to many others in the Vegas area, and it's just a short, easy 25-minute drive from the Strip. Highly recommended!

Chimera Golf Club in Las Vegas offers a pleasant golfing experience with well-maintained fairways and greens. However, the pace of play was quite slow, taking 2 hours to complete just 4 holes. We managed to move ahead of a couple of groups, which did speed things up a bit, but waiting remained an issue. From 1pm to 5:30pm, we only managed to finish 14 holes, with the last 3 holes being played mostly in the dark.

The management team at Chimera Golf Club leaves much to be desired. The driving range often lacks grass, and it can be difficult to even find an ice bucket with ice. Groups are sent out approximately every 7 minutes, leading to a very slow pace of play. Additionally, they schedule outings on weekends, which is quite unusual. On a brighter note, the starters are very friendly.

Chimera Golf Club is a fantastic course. Upon arriving, the staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful with any questions I had as a first-time visitor. The course itself is in excellent condition and the rates are very reasonable considering the quality. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Rating could have been higher if not for an overzealous starter at Chimera Golf Club. Trying to enjoy a peaceful round on a well-maintained course shouldn't be disrupted by the starter trying to accommodate a members shootout along with paying customers who have booked tee times. Being shuffled around and starting on hole #10 due to this group of members playing their weekly game can make you feel rushed and uncomfortable. Despite the nice layout and great condition of the course, with greens rolling smoothly, the crowded feeling and constant push around the course by the noise of the members' game made it difficult to relax and enjoy the day. For a rate exceeding $125, higher expectations were held. Unlikely to return for another round.

Great golf course overall. The fairways and greens were well maintained. However, it was a bit slow - it took us 2 hours to play just 4 holes. We ended up in front of two other groups which helped speed things up, but we still had to wait. We managed to finish 14 holes from 1pm to 5:30pm, with the last few holes played mostly in the dark.
