You can also find the TrackMan Driving Range, the first of its kind in Nevada. With this equipment, you can keep track of your ball speed and other analytics. Another unique offering at Chimera Golf Club is the fat tire trike you can rent in place of a golf cart. Chimera also has a restaurant, open to the public, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you can fuel up before you hit the links or replenish after.

What I Disliked
Very nice golf course. Fairways and greens were in good condition. However, it took 2 hours to play 4 holes... we ended up getting in front of two other groups, which sped us up some, but we were still waiting. Finished 14 holes from 1pm to 530. The last 3 holes were played mostly in the dark.

What I Disliked
Chimera was a wonderful course. I'm new to the course and from the moment I arrived I was treated great. The staff was very pleasant, professional and courteous. I had questions since it was the first time I was there and they were all answered promptly. The course is in great shape, loved it. The rates are super reasonable for a course in this area and in such great condition. I will definitely be back.

What I Disliked
Fun course. Seemed a bit overpriced and played slow, but the course is very approachable. Not spectacular, but a fun layout with some nice views. The course was in good shape and my buddies and I enjoyed the setup. The food/beverage staff and restaurant were also great and my steak salad was a great way to polish off a round. All around, we really enjoyed it here.

Tee boxes and fairways were ideal but the greens were in terrible condition…Absurdly bad, seemingly neglected. If you hit the green in reg, just call it a two put, not worth the frustration. Other than that it’s a fun track, friendly staff, frequent cart person, and good food. Really wish the greens were not sub par!

Played early spring. Everything but the greens were in great shape. Greens are currently long, bumpy, and recovering from what appears to be a very dry winter. It was like playing in sand many places and the ball would jump around as it rolled towards the hole. Frustrating if you are expecting a traditional approach. I’m sure this will be fixed over the next couple months. Play was insanely slow! We were told about 5-6 different times that there was nothing that could be done, which was too bad. 18 holes took 5.5 hours. Overall, the staff are very friendly. The course was in great shape (except for the greens) and the location created a fun experience with views downtown and surrounding desert.

What I Disliked
Pretty views friendly pro shop. Decent greens and tee box. I have 3 stars because they didn’t have carts available until just after tee time, then cart ran out of juice of 12. Guys in front were slow waiting 5-10 min for most holes after 4. Ranger was friendly but didn’t solve the issue. Tip: make it 10 min increments!!! People are more likely to return when they have fun
