Currently staying at Mandalay Bay and finding several aspects quite disappointing. The towels have an unpleasant musty or mildewy odor, something never encountered at a resort before. It's important to be cautious with the mini bar and snack box, as moving anything incurs a charge. Additionally, you can't place personal beverages in the room's fridge, an unusual policy. The in-room coffee comes at a hefty $16, and bottled water is priced at $24, both unreasonably high. The promised beautiful view is marred by a dirty window, and while the website highlights the beach and pool, the beach is closed in winter, and the pools are also not available. The resort's location, at the very end of the strip, might be inconvenient for those looking to explore all that Las Vegas offers. Consider alternative accommodations for a more satisfying experience.

From the moment I checked in with the incredibly helpful Brittany on Thursday night during the first rainstorm in 200 days, my stay at Mandalay Bay was exceptional. Brittany assisted with my room and ensured my experience was nothing short of outstanding. I will definitely return. I appreciate that the hotel is slightly removed from the center of the Strip, which means avoiding the bustling crowds. Plus, it's conveniently located right across the street from the pinball museum! Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience — thank you, Brittany!

Rating this hotel, I can only give it two stars: one for the loose slots and another for the tram convenience. Beyond that, the experience leaves much to be desired. The size of the hotel is impressive, but it can be a hassle since getting anywhere takes quite the trek. If you're hoping for a variety of dining options, you'll likely be disappointed. Many restaurants seem to be closed, and there isn't a food court available. Finding a meal while gambling is no easy task, with House of Blues or the eateries in the shopping area between Mandalay Bay and Luxor being the best options. Visiting the aquarium feels like a long journey through seemingly endless, empty corridors. Despite the hotel's beauty and the vastness of the casino, it seriously lacks in dining variety and ease of navigation.

During a recent stay at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the visit. From the moment of arrival, the staff was welcoming, professional, and eager to ensure an enjoyable experience. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, emphasizing comfort and style. The bed provided an incredibly comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. A standout feature was the resort's incredible amenities. The pool area felt like a tropical paradise, and the beach-like wave pool offered a unique and fun experience. Dining options were phenomenal, with a variety of cuisines to suit every palate. Whether seeking relaxation or the vibrant energy of Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay truly offers the best of both worlds. I highly recommend this resort for those seeking luxury, convenience, and unforgettable experiences. Returning soon is a definite plan!

I hadn't visited Mandalay Bay since THE Hotel first opened, but my recent trip for a work conference left me very impressed. The convenience of mobile check-in meant no waiting in line upon arrival. With approximately 15 diverse dining options, from high-end restaurants to fast food, every place we tried was satisfying. The gaming floor is as expansive as expected, but what's noteworthy is that it didn't feel crowded—machines were well-spaced. Additionally, the air quality was excellent; I didn't notice any smoke, thanks to their efficient ventilation system. Drink service was exceptional, and the staff consistently went above and beyond. The pool area is fantastic as well. Definitely planning to return!

Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas offers an upscale atmosphere and sophisticated decor. However, during a visit, two friends experienced the theft of their bags in the food court. Unfortunately, the security staff was unable to assist without a police report. The hotel prides itself on luxury, but certain practices felt a bit exploitative. For example, requesting a set of plastic utensils costs $13. Additionally, the use of the fridge requires an extra fee of $50 per day. Be cautious around the mini bar, as moving any items—even if not consumed—can incur charges. Housekeeping could use improvement. A piece of hair was left on the shower wall for the entire 7-day stay, and the ice bag was never replaced. The shower floor, which features a pebble design, did not feel clean and had a residue-like texture. Overall, while the hotel boasts a lavish setting, some aspects of service and cleanliness were disappointing.
