What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

Staying at Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas was a highly disappointing experience. The rooms were in dreadful condition, with filthy carpets, moldy bathrooms, damaged walls, and missing artwork, giving them a neglected and poorly maintained appearance. While the pool was somewhat acceptable, the overbearing behavior of the security staff overshadowed it. They were intrusive and confrontational, monitoring us closely via cameras and approaching with an inappropriate and uncomfortable demeanor that left us feeling unwelcome. Other guests at the pool also expressed feeling the same about the security's rude and aggressive behavior once they left. I had also purchased the “Patio & Perks” package, which was supposed to include a $25 food and beverage credit, but the staff seemed entirely unaware of its existence. I was shuffled from one person to another, and none could provide assistance or a solution, making the whole situation extremely frustrating. Overall, customer service was unprofessional throughout my stay. I have no intention of returning to this establishment and cannot recommend it to anyone.

What I Disliked

**Infestation Alert** This place receives two stars solely for its convenient location, pleasant staff, and nice bar. However, let's dive into the crux of the issues. The manager, easily identifiable by his balding hair, seemed displeased with his job and treated guests disrespectfully. The hotel's condition is severely outdated and deteriorating, yet they impose a steep $46 resort fee. Upon entering, the sink was already clogged, the toilet didn't work properly, and the room only had one towel. The worst part: room 3005 had bed bugs. After checking in around 7 PM on March 21st, I woke up to itchy skin and welts, only to discover a bed bug crawling on the bed. The front desk staff had me complete an incident report and transferred us to another room, refunding only that night's resort fee. The entire establishment is in poor condition, with hallways and elevators constantly smelling awful, and housekeeping services are infrequent at best. During our 7-day stay, the room was only cleaned twice. Additionally, guests must go to the front desk daily to get fresh towels. The pool is neglected, and scorpions have been seen lingering there. Disturbingly, despite having a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, a staff member entered unannounced as my teenage daughter was showering, delivering toilet paper we had requested the previous evening. This incident was unsettling and exemplifies a lack of respect for guests' privacy. Booking was done via booking.com. Silver Sevens needs to address these numerous issues urgently.

What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

Silver Sevens in Las Vegas has an older charm and is situated in a relatively convenient location. However, upon checking in late at night, the room was evidently not prepared: there was hair on the pillow, the bedsheets were not set, and trash was left on the counter. The front desk mentioned that they believed the room was ready, attributing it to a communication issue with the cleaning staff. Additionally, the hotel advertises an airport shuttle service, but it is important to note that this service stops after 9:30 PM without prior notice, which led to using public transport and an unexpected delay in reaching the hotel. Be cautious and manage expectations regarding the service.

What I Disliked

I chose Silver Sevens in Las Vegas primarily for its price, convenient location, and complimentary airport shuttle service. It's been a while since my last visit to Vegas, where I usually stay with friends, so I had forgotten about the allowance of smoking in casinos. Upon entering, the smoke smell was quite strong. The check-in area is located to the right, and the employee assisting me was excellent, making the process quick and smooth. They have a policy requiring a refundable security deposit. My room was on the second floor, and I hoped that being in a non-smoking area would mean less odor. Unfortunately, both the hallways and the room itself had a noticeable smell. The room was standard, featuring side tables with lights (one of which wasn't working), a desk and chair, a TV, a dresser, and a bench, although there was no refrigerator. The bathroom was compact, but the shower was nice in my opinion. Standard amenities like soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were provided. The air conditioner functioned adequately, and I used the fan function continually. Either I got accustomed to the smell over my 4-day/3-night stay, or the fan helped. The staff I encountered were all friendly, including security personnel, the front desk team, the cafe server, the store cashier, and the shuttle drivers. I didn't request housekeeping during my stay, but every attendant I met was pleasant. The cafe served good food with generous portions. The location is quite convenient; I enjoy walking, so I strolled to the Atomic Museum and the Strip. The hotel is also close to the airport, with a quick shuttle ride. A shuttle driver mentioned that many people opt to park at the hotel for $9/day and take the shuttle to avoid airport parking fees. Overall, I'd consider staying here again, given that it's a budget-friendly option. Next time, I might bring a small fan to help circulate the air better.

What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

I recently had to make an unplanned trip to Las Vegas for a celebration of life and needed a place to stay on short notice. The friend I was supposed to stay with was unable to host me last minute, and I felt uncomfortable asking family or friends to accommodate me. With it being Veterans Day weekend, hotel prices in Vegas were inflated, and the additional resort fees were tacked on. I chose Silver Sevens because it was the most affordable option I found through my booking app, despite some concerning reviews. Moraima at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind, making the check-in process quick and easy during what felt like a stressful time. I already knew about the fees since they were clearly listed when I booked the room, and Moraima explained them once again at the desk. My room was exactly what I needed for a two-night stay. Although there was an odor in the hallways and stained carpets, which could be due to the high foot traffic, the room itself was clean. The air conditioning could have been colder, but the shower and room were both clean, and I didn't encounter any pests. The bed was comfortable, and I felt safe throughout my stay, which can be a concern even at high-end hotels. My goal was simply to find a clean and safe place to rest, and that's precisely what I got. Cindy at the front desk was equally helpful when I checked out, making my departure just as pleasant as my arrival. I felt that the price I paid met my expectations, and I was thankful not to spend excessively. I didn't visit the casino, so I can't comment on that experience. Ultimately, if you're after something more luxurious, you should be prepared to pay extra. But if you need something decent, affordable, and close to the Strip with free parking, Silver Sevens is a solid choice.

What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

Upon arrival at Silver Sevens in Las Vegas, the check-in experience was less than welcoming, with a staff member displaying a demeanor better suited to behind-the-scenes tasks. The entrance to the casino is engulfed in the strong odor of cigarette smoke, which is highly unpleasant. On a brighter note, the room itself is clean with a comfortable bed and an impressive, large television that even greeted with a personalized message, which was a nice touch. However, the room lacks several amenities such as a safe, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker—though a Starbucks is conveniently located nearby. There is also only one trash can provided. Noise from the room above is disruptive, sounding as if a motorcycle is running throughout the night. Despite these issues, a $46 per night "resort fee" is charged, although it's unclear whether this includes wifi as there's no information provided in the room. Given the initial check-in experience, inquiring about amenities wasn’t an appealing option. A more personable staff member could have improved the check-in process, but unfortunately, an unpleasant experience left a lasting impression. While the room itself was satisfactory, the pervasive smell of smoke in the casino and hallways is hard to overlook, so a mask might be advisable. It's concerning that management has not addressed the repeated complaints about certain staff members, as customer feedback seems largely ignored. Consequently, this hotel will not be a future choice, despite the constant flow of visitors to Las Vegas. It's disappointing that a long day of travel ended with an unnecessarily hostile encounter.
