About Bellagio Hotel & Casino

Bellagio occupies one of the Strip's most advantageous locations, directly on Las Vegas Boulevard opposite Paris Las Vegas and near Caesars Palace, The Cosmopolitan, and the ARIA Campus. Its lake and fountains create a grand sense of arrival, while the center-Strip position makes it possible to walk to a large concentration of restaurants, shows, casinos, and shopping. The resort itself is enormous, however, and reaching the street, rideshare pickup, or a neighboring hotel can take longer than the map suggests.

The remodeled standard rooms are approximately 510 square feet and use a quieter, Lake Como-inspired design rather than the heavy decor associated with older versions of the hotel. Fountain-view rooms provide the signature experience, especially after dark, while rooms facing the mountains or pool can offer a calmer outlook. Bellagio's suites range from spacious one-bedroom layouts to extravagant lake-view accommodations, but rates vary sharply by view and date.

Much of Bellagio's appeal is outside the guest room. The Conservatory & Botanical Gardens changes elaborate displays throughout the year, the lobby features Dale Chihuly's glass ceiling, and the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art presents rotating exhibitions. The aquatic production “O” remains a major on-site show. Dining ranges from casual cafés and the Bellagio Patisserie to high-end restaurants, several with fountain views, while the casino includes slots, table games, poker, and a sportsbook.

The Italian-inspired pool courtyard is one of the more elegant resort pool settings on the Strip, favoring landscaped relaxation over a nonstop party atmosphere. Standard seating is available to hotel guests, while cabanas and reserved options add substantial cost. Bellagio Spa & Salon, a fitness center, upscale shopping, and numerous bars make it easy to spend a full day on the property without repeating the same experience.

Bellagio is particularly well suited to first-time visitors who want a recognizable Las Vegas landmark, couples planning a special trip, and travelers who value dining, art, and a central location as much as casino nightlife. The compromises are equally clear: rooms, restaurants, parking, resort fees, and premium views are costly, and public areas around the Conservatory and fountain entrances can be extremely crowded. Guests looking for intimacy or quiet should consider a smaller hotel, but few resorts deliver a more complete classic Las Vegas stay.

Bellagio’s room inventory distinguishes Premier, Spa Premier and explicitly named Fountain View categories. Match the precise category when comparing prices: staying at Bellagio does not itself guarantee a room overlooking the fountain show. If that view is the reason for the reservation, verify that it appears in the purchased room description rather than only in a request or a general hotel photograph.

Bedding also changes the suitable party size. The current Fountain View King listing allows up to three guests, while Fountain View Two Queen allows four. Enter the actual guest count and compare any added charges before checkout. For suites, check the floor plan and bathroom arrangement as well as the view; a larger suite and a better fountain outlook are separate booking decisions.

Best For

  • Travelers who want a base in the Las Vegas Strip resort corridor
  • Couples and special-occasion trips seeking an upscale hotel experience
  • Guests who expect to schedule meaningful pool or spa time at the hotel
  • Guests who enjoy the energy and convenience of a casino hotel

Consider The Tradeoffs

  • A Strip address can still involve long walks through large resorts, bridges, and indoor corridors
  • Resort fees, parking charges, deposits, and amenity schedules can change; compare the final checkout total for the exact dates
  • Lower rates may come with simpler rooms, fewer on-site amenities, or a less convenient tourist location
  • Casino activity, smoking areas, nightlife, and busy public spaces may not suit travelers seeking a quiet retreat

Staying at Bellagio was a delightful experience. Its central location on the Strip makes it incredibly convenient for exploring various attractions. The room offered stunning views, both day and night, and was both spacious and impeccably clean. Despite its bustling location, the hotel maintained a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were consistently kind and courteous, enhancing the overall stay. Dining at Spago for lunch and enjoying the "O" show at the theater was made even better by being able to easily return to the room for breaks. A future visit to Bellagio is certainly in mind for the next trip.

During my visit to the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, I had an experience that was nothing short of remarkable. My room offered a spectacular view of the iconic Bellagio Fountains, making it possible to enjoy the mesmerizing fountain show without leaving the comfort of my accommodations. The seamless blend of water, lights, and music created a captivating spectacle that felt incredibly personal. The room itself was immaculate and exuded elegance, enhancing the overall luxury of my stay. For anyone considering a stay here, opting for a room with a view of the fountains is highly recommended—you won't regret it!

The Bellagio in Las Vegas impresses with its stunning lobby that leads into the elegant Conservatory. Check-in was efficient, thanks to Marriott perks, and the room was available earlier than expected. The front desk team deserves praise for their excellent service. However, the room didn't quite live up to expectations. Storage space was limited, with minimal room for clothes, and the space felt quite compact. It resembled the quality of a standard Courtyard Inn, with the exception of the rather pricey snacks and beverages available. The showerhead showed signs of limescale buildup and didn’t reach a satisfying temperature. A significant drawback was the open shower with no door, allowing steam to escape, which can be an issue in modern hotels. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable, and the thermostat was highly responsive. Overall, the stay was satisfactory. Considering the cost, it seems the hotel is banking on its reputation rather than value. I've experienced superior basic rooms at venues like the Venetian, Mandalay Bay, and Vdara.

What To Do Near Bellagio Hotel & Casino

Bellagio’s lake, Conservatory, restaurants and theater are different destinations within one large resort. Identify the meeting point and venue entrance for each reservation before heading downstairs. If combining a fountain visit with a meal or “O,” allow time for the public-area crowds and keep show admission separate from the hotel booking.
