Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa
Red Rock is a polished Summerlin resort near Red Rock Canyon, combining large luxury rooms, an excellent pool, spa, extensive gaming, acclaimed restaurants, movies, and bowling far from the Strip.
Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa is at 11011 West Charleston Boulevard in Summerlin, beside Downtown Summerlin and near the entrance to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The setting is dramatically removed from the Strip: it is excellent for hiking, western-valley business, and a calmer resort stay, but visitors need a car or rideshare for Las Vegas Boulevard. Free parking makes day trips practical.
Standard luxury rooms begin around 515 square feet, unusually generous for Las Vegas, with contemporary desert-inspired design, marble bathrooms, and soaking tubs. Suites add substantial space and upgraded living areas. Mountain and Strip views provide very different experiences, so outdoors-focused travelers may prefer facing Red Rock Canyon.
The seasonal resort pool combines a large landscaped deck with 19 private cabanas, daybeds, chair-side service, Sandbar Grille, and weekend poolside table games. A separate 21-and-older Rouge Room pool area adds a more social atmosphere. Registered hotel guests receive pool access, while public day access and reserved seating carry separate charges under current rules.
Gaming is extensive, with more than 2,700 machines, over 60 table games, poker, high-limit rooms, bingo, keno, and a major sportsbook. The casino is strongly oriented toward locals but has the scale and polish of a destination resort. Families and non-gamblers can use the movie theater, bowling center, arcade-style activities, spa, and fitness facilities.
Dining is another major strength. T-Bones Chophouse, Lotus of Siam, Naxos Taverna, Blue Ribbon Sushi, Osteria Fiorella, Oyster Bar, and 24-hour Lucky Penny create enough range for a multi-night stay. Downtown Summerlin adds many more restaurants and shops nearby.
Red Rock is best for luxury-minded families, couples, casino players, hikers, and repeat visitors who are comfortable staying away from the Strip. It is a poor choice for travelers who want to walk between famous casinos or attend multiple Strip shows. Resort charges and transportation should be weighed against the larger rooms, free parking, and broad on-site amenities.
As a regular visitor to Red Rock, I appreciate the resort-like feel of the atmosphere. There are numerous dining options, including the popular The Lotus of Siam. Being part of Stations Casinos, there are plenty of benefits for locals to enjoy. It's a fantastic spot to entertain visitors or gather with friends for drinks. The Sports Book is cozy and ideal for catching a game. Free parking is a nice perk. The casino is clean and well-ventilated, making it less smoky than others on the Strip.
I recently stayed at Red Rock in Las Vegas and found the room to be absolutely perfect, with a comfortable bed and great linens. The service was spot on. However, I deducted one star because during the summer, the pool closes somewhat early. Given the excruciating daytime temperatures, it would have been nice to use the pool in the evening.
The Red Rock has a vast gaming floor with a great variety of slots that are constantly updated. You can play for a decent amount of time and have a good chance of winning, making it an enjoyable experience. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist. The food court and restaurants offer good choices for dining. While I haven't stayed in the rooms yet, I imagine they are top-notch based on the overall experience at Red Rock.
Check-in for the Hotel is 3pm and we arrived at 5pm. We were told our room will not be ready for another hour. We explained we were meeting family at 6:30 for dinner and needed to shower and change. The options we were given were downgrade to a smaller room and the $50 resort fee would be waived or upgrade to a larger room for $100 more per night plus $50 resort fee. Not much of an option.
Next, the Sheet from the pull-out bed from the sofa had (I hope) just food stains and not blood that it looked like. Housekeeping came to our room at 10pm and changed everything out.
Finally, the shower had a significant leak in the seal and flooded the bathroom. Maintenance was called and it was fixed.
Rough experience.
There are a lot of options in going to Vegas and we picked Red Rock because of a friend’s referral. The resort is beautiful, but the Hotel Staff/Manager at check-in made their fault our issue to resolve.
I will say that the Spa is amazing and was the hit of the visit to Red Rock.
My recent visit to Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas was truly impressive. The casino floor is expansive and well-maintained, offering a wide variety of gaming options. I particularly enjoyed playing poker in their well-organized and friendly atmosphere.
The dining choices at Red Rock are abundant, and I had some delicious meals during my stay. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a more upscale dining experience, there's something for everyone.
The overall atmosphere of Red Rock Casino is vibrant and inviting, with plenty of amenities to explore. From the luxurious spa to the beautiful pool area and various entertainment options, it's clear that Red Rock aims to provide a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for its guests.
In conclusion, Red Rock Casino offers a fantastic mix of gaming, dining, and leisure activities. Whether you're a seasoned gambler or just looking for a fun place to relax and unwind, it's definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to go back!
The luxury king room at Red Rock in Las Vegas exceeded my expectations. It was spacious and beautifully decorated, just like in the advertisement. The hotel itself is stunning and offers a variety of delicious dining options. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside was that the room did not have a fridge, only a mini bar fridge, and there was no microwave. However, the tub was top-notch.
Red Rock in Las Vegas is a stunning resort with a fantastic pool area. The separate hotel reception adds a touch of luxury and calmness upon arrival, away from the typical casino noise.
The spacious rooms offer beautiful views of either the mountains or the strip, making you feel like you are in a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas. Located just 15 minutes from the strip, you can easily access your favorite restaurants and entertainment options. Additionally, being next to Summerlin downtown provides convenient access to great shopping opportunities.
The casino at Red Rock is elegant and offers a variety of games and machines. It provides a more upscale experience compared to other Vegas casinos.
Stayed here for the first time and to celebrate Christmas! Clean and friendly atmosphere. Casino is great. Many restaurants to choose from. We love the tranquility. Easy parking and free. Easy access to casino from parking. We went to the strip to see other things and come back to Red Rock to really relax and have fun at the bowling and casino.
A wonderful experience.
Staying at the Red Rock Casino is always a pleasure, but this time, the view from the hotel room truly elevated the experience. The moment the curtains were pulled back, a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding Red Rock Canyon and the vibrant city of Las Vegas in the distance emerged. The contrast between the rugged natural beauty of the canyon and the twinkling city lights at night is nothing short of mesmerizing.
Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the canyon, with its vivid reds and oranges casting a warm glow across the landscape, is an experience that won't soon be forgotten. The room itself epitomizes luxury and comfort, with every detail thoughtfully designed to enhance the overall stay.
Whether you're unwinding after a day of exploring or simply enjoying a quiet morning with a cup of coffee, the view from Red Rock Casino adds an incredible dimension to the stay. It’s no wonder guests keep coming back—this place is truly a hidden gem, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and modern elegance. For those seeking a stay that combines breathtaking scenery with top-notch amenities, Red Rock Casino is the place to be.
I enjoyed the overall aesthetic of Red Rock resort and found the restaurants to be of good quality, although slightly pricey. My main issue with the resort is their tendency to charge for every little thing, such as picking up a box of peanuts in the room. They even charge a resort fee on top of the room rate for amenities like the pool and gym.
I'm hesitant to wholeheartedly recommend this place due to the additional charges, but if you have the budget and are looking for a Vegas getaway away from the Strip, Red Rock could be a good option for you.
We were thrilled to revisit Red Rock in Las Vegas after not being able to make it back since 2018. While we stayed on the strip for a few nights, we were looking forward to being further away and not having to leave the resort. We brought along our children and some friends with their kids, and the Kid Zone was a hit with all four children. They all expressed their desire to return and had a fantastic time there. The gambling and bowling were enjoyable, and the rooms were top-notch. The spa was stunning and the massage service was excellent. The pool was a highlight for the kids, who said it was their favorite part of the vacation. A big thank you to the Red Rock staff for their hard work in making our vacation a success. We are already planning our next trip back!
I recently stayed at Red Rock and had a great experience! The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The pool area was fantastic for relaxation. The casino offered a good selection of games and the onsite restaurants were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Red Rock for anyone in search of a fun and relaxing getaway.
Good selection of restaurants, bars, and fun events. Plenty of slot machines and g as gambling. It's away from the strip and situated near some great shopping and a ballpark. Rooms are nice and I love this place as a local to hang out, buy some drinks and eat. Lucille's BBQ and Smokehouse and 8 Noodle are very good. I want to try the Thai place next.
About twenty minutes from the strip, it was easy to get to from the LAS airport. It offers a large entry with valet service. The hotel rooms and conference center are away from the casino, bowling alley, and cinema but still easy to get to within the resort. The room was spacious, clean, and had the deepest soaking tub. I had the strip view room and could see the lights of Vegas throughout the night with a beautiful sunrise the next day. Room service was timely and fresh.
This is a review for Hailey at the high limit VIP lounge in Red Rock. This is my first visit to this new lounge and it was incredible. The place was amazingly clean, has its own restroom and everyone was so helpful. Hailey, who was the bartender there made it extra special. Her attention to detail and ensuring her customers were taken care of was top notch. She also had a couple of difficult customers to deal with and she did so with class. I will definitely be visiting the VIP lounge next time I’m in Vegas and I hope to see her there.
If you're looking for a great place to stay away from the strip then Red Rock Casino Resort is the place for you. The resort is truly a 5 Star location. The rooms were roomy with the most comfortable beds. The bathroom included a deep tub to soak in and a separate shower. The casino offered everything you could imagine, gambling, a movie theater, a bowling alley and BINGO! There were a wide range of dining options from fast and easy to sit down and fancy. If you need to escape the resort for a bit then you could walk right across the street to the Downtown Summerlin outdoor shopping plaza. Great stores for shopping and a large selection of dining options. After 4 days at the resort I didn't want to leave!
Visited this location with my husband for a simple date night. Very quick line and excellent service at the gaming counter. Machines were great, up to date with good payouts. The drinks were strong, flowed freely, and I didn't have to chase anyone down to get them. The facilities were very clean and well kept. After playing the machines we ventured into Leslie's BBQ for an AMAZING dinner... We are from the south send judge BBQ very very harshly and when I say it was good, it was GOOD. Except the Mac n cheese which was absolute trash. We will definitely be back to the casino as well as Leslie's.
We didn't stay in the hotel. We've attended many movies and gone bowling several times. Always fun and clean. Never had an issue with other guests. People are respectful and friendly. Several restaurants in the Casino. Ran into Carrot Top at the Yardhouse Restaurant inside this casino. He was down to earth and gracious toward everyone. Other famous people have been seen here too. Pool and hotel grounds look amazing but can't rate them from personal experience. Although, I expect them to be just as great as everything else I've experienced there. Highly recommend a visit...many visits!
Red Rock is one of the cleanest hotels in Las Vegas from the rooms to the casino. Everything has a warm yet enticing vibe and the staff is always incredibly friendly.
Once you've experienced the cleanliness, plush beds, and smaller crowds of Red Rock and Green Valley, you may never want to visit the strip again. I love both Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch, but Red Rock is probably my favorite. The casino is fun with a lot of new games and the pool area is super clean and big. I love my stays here.
Some of the nicest accommodations and amenities in the Las Vegas area without the crowds. I stayed at Red Rock on my last visit and will definitely be coming back.
