About The Signature at MGM Grand

The Signature at MGM Grand consists of three towers at 125–145 East Harmon Avenue, set behind MGM Grand and connected to it by an indoor moving walkway. The quiet, gated complex is removed from casino traffic, while MGM Grand's dining, gaming, shows, monorail, and Strip access remain reachable indoors. The walk can be long, especially from Tower 3.

Official suites begin around 550 square feet with a king bed, queen sofa bed, sitting area, kitchenette, and whirlpool tub. Balcony and Strip-view categories add outdoor space, while one-bedroom suites reach roughly 900 square feet with a separate living room and fuller kitchen. Some units are privately owned and rented independently, so booking operator, housekeeping, deposits, and guest support should be checked carefully.

Each tower is designed with a private heated pool, cabanas, cocktail service, fitness facilities, and concierge support. Pool operations vary by tower and season, and one pool may substitute for another during closures. Access to MGM Grand's much larger pool complex can depend on reservation type, especially for privately managed units.

The Signature is best for couples, families, longer stays, and visitors wanting a kitchen and quiet environment beside MGM Grand. It has no casino or full restaurant collection in the towers, and reaching Las Vegas Boulevard takes time. Direct MGM reservations provide the clearest service expectations; independent rentals may offer different pricing but require closer policy review.

The Signature at MGM Grand offers rooms with kitchenettes or suites that, although labeled as penthouses, are essentially spacious two-bedroom extended-stay accommodations. Situated away from the busy strip, the location provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, including the noise and smoke of casinos. However, this means a lengthy 10-minute walk to reach the main MGM area, which might not be ideal for those seeking accessibility due to uneven walkways and a lack of roll-in showers. The front desk service is average and not particularly forthcoming with information, requiring guests to inquire for details. Additionally, the phone service can be unreliable. The mandatory valet service is less than welcoming, with staff often displaying a brusque demeanor. Guests are required to use bell service and valet, as self-unloading of luggage or use of luggage carts is not permitted. Tower 1 seems more worn compared to the others, and despite the luxury price point, the decor and room layouts feel outdated and somewhat awkward. On the plus side, the jacuzzi tubs and showers provide good water pressure. While there are certainly comparable or better options with closer proximity to the strip, it's important to note that the rooms are privately owned, which results in variations in cleaning and renovations. The inclusion of balconies is a nice touch, though they lack furniture, making it challenging to fully enjoy the space.

I'm reluctant to say this, but our visit left us quite underwhelmed. The hotel feels trapped in the past, reminiscent of the early '90s. We're not high-maintenance guests; we simply seek a clean, cozy, and reasonably pleasant environment. Unfortunately, this venue failed to deliver on those fronts. We opted for a Deluxe Suite with an extra charge only to be greeted by a view of a littered parking lot. The king-sized bed had a mattress that was so used, it retained deep grooves. In a city like Vegas, the lack of a mini bar or room service is surprising. Even basic amenities like coffee mugs and glasses were missing, which was truly unexpected. It felt more akin to a roadside budget hotel than a Vegas establishment. While we understand that the rates are more affordable compared to others in the area, this place should not be marketed as a 5-star hotel. If it were categorized as a 3-star, perhaps the disparity between expectations and reality wouldn’t have been as jarring.

During my recent visit to Las Vegas, I chose to stay at The Signature at MGM Grand and it turned out to be a remarkable experience. Upon entering the grand and elegantly designed lobby, I felt confident that I had chosen well. The check-in process was swift, with the staff being notably friendly and accommodating. The room exceeded my expectations in terms of size, cleanliness, and comfort. A highlight was the private spa/jacuzzi in the bathroom, ideal for unwinding after a busy day in the city. Gazing at the breathtaking view of the Strip from my window at night was a true delight. This expansive resort spans multiple buildings, each providing its own unique vibe. Guests can enjoy various pools, including a lazy river meant for relaxation, a well-equipped fitness center, and a lively casino with an electrifying atmosphere. One of the most impressive aspects was the affordability of the stay, especially given its prime location right on the Strip, with easy access to entertainment, dining, and shopping. In summary, my experience at MGM Grand was exceptional. From the luxurious room with a spa to the extensive amenities and prime location, it offered incredible value. I wholeheartedly recommend The Signature at MGM Grand and would eagerly return for another stay!
