For many years, our family has cherished visiting this bowling center, largely due to the consistently positive experiences we've had with the staff. The younger team members, in particular, have been notably friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, our recent visit was marred by a starkly different encounter. We were confronted by an older staff member named Joe, whose rude and confrontational demeanor took us by surprise. He refused to provide us with a lane, insisting we prove we had our own bowling shoes, and his approach was far from the warm environment we've come to enjoy. When we requested to speak with a manager, he curtly responded that South Point is privately owned and dismissed our concerns, indicating management wouldn't care. This level of disrespect was both disappointing and unacceptable. It’s a shame to have a history of great visits tarnished by the actions of a single individual. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue seriously.
Visiting Las Vegas multiple times annually, we always choose Horseshoe as our destination. The lobby bar is a highlight for us, whether we're unwinding with pre-dinner drinks or enjoying a late-night beverage. The reason? Wayne, the incredible bartender, who never fails to impress. If you're around, make sure to drop by and experience his exceptional service.
Our night at Zouk to see James Hype was enjoyable, though there was room for improvement. As anticipated in Vegas, drinks came with a steep price tag, and VIP tables began at approximately $2,000. The lighting effects were interesting, yet lacked the wow factor—lasers would have added an exciting touch. The sound system performed well, but didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of volume or clarity for such a large venue. It was an entertaining evening, but not enough to merit a full five-star rating.
