We recently stayed at the MGM Grand for four nights in a standard double bed room. The room itself was clean, although the two chairs were a bit worn out and felt dirty. Be aware that the fridge is stocked with drinks, but there are charges for anything you take. Unfortunately, there is no coffee maker in the room, so you'll need to grab your morning coffee from the nearby Starbucks. In terms of amenities, an iron and hair dryer are provided. The service we experienced was a bit inconsistent - while some staff members were friendly, others were not very helpful. Witnessing guests being yelled at by reception staff was definitely off-putting. On the positive side, the MGM Grand offers a great selection of restaurants ranging from Michelin-starred to casual dining options, as well as a convenient food court. The pool area can get crowded, especially the lazy river. There are plenty of slot machines available, along with a high limit room for those who prefer to gamble with larger stakes. One downside we noted was the lack of lobby seating for enjoying morning coffee - this led some guests to sit at the slot machines instead. However, be prepared for the strong cigarette smell in the slot machine area. Overall, the MGM Grand offers a wide range of dining options and entertainment choices for guests to enjoy during their stay.
With convenient seating near the Cashier and Beatles entrance, Center Bar at The Mirage is a prime spot to gather before hitting your next destination. The bar offers a wide selection of beer, wine, and spirits, and the service is top-notch. Choose from bar, high top, or lounge seating options, although the TVs are located above the bar. It's a great place to start your Las Vegas adventure.
My friends and I had a great time exploring Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas. The live music, street performers, dining options, and shops created a fun and festive atmosphere. I would highly recommend checking it out and I look forward to returning in the future. The Deuce bus conveniently runs between Fremont Street and the Strip every 15 minutes, and we took advantage of the 24-hour pass for $8 each.
Pour 24 at New York New York has truly become a hidden gem thanks to Alain, the amazing bartender. His exceptional service is the reason we keep going back. Alain's attentive and friendly nature truly makes each visit enjoyable. While Pour 24 may not be the trendiest spot on the Strip, Alain's genuine hospitality sets it apart. The bar offers a solid selection of draft beers, including local brews, as well as delicious cocktails. Additionally, the bar provides a great view for people-watching on the casino floor. For a laid-back atmosphere, great drinks, and outstanding service, Pour 24 is the place to go. Be sure to ask for Alain to truly elevate your experience.
