The bartender, Ricardo, at the Lobby Bar in Bally's is truly exceptional. The espressos he makes are some of the best in Vegas. Make sure to seek him out next time you're at the casino - you won't be disappointed.
Whiskey Licker Up is an okay spot, but there are better options in Las Vegas. During our visit, three out of the four of us received our food promptly, but we had to wait over 5 minutes for the last plate to come out of the kitchen. The restaurant could definitely improve on their communication among staff. Furthermore, the layout of the hallway is confusing, with people entering from the street mixing with hotel guests trying to check in. This can make it difficult to determine where to stand in line, and the hostess may not notice you waiting. Overall, the restaurant seems to be trying their best, but the layout is just not ideal. Additionally, the seasoned chips were overly seasoned.
My group and I visited Ri Ra Las Vegas during our trip for a birthday celebration. We had a reservation for six people and were seated promptly upon arrival. The Irish Pub had a great atmosphere, and the food was exceptional from start to finish. The steak Mac n cheese and mushrooms were particularly delicious, and the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
The food at MGM Grand Buffet was decent. I visited the buffet after spending time in the Lazy River and was starving. The buffet quickly filled me up, although there weren't too many options to choose from. Drinks were self-serve, with a soda machine available. The line for the meat was too long, so I didn't get to try it. Overall, the buffet served its purpose of providing a quick and filling meal.
The Encore proved to be a fantastic hotel for a weekend getaway. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The beds and pillows were top-notch in terms of comfort. The shower boasted great water pressure and the separate toilet area within the bathroom was a nice touch. The room was spacious and easily accommodated a group of four. However, the only drawback was the loud EDM music coming from the Encore Beach Club at Night. The music was so loud that it reverberated up the walls, making it challenging to get a good night's sleep, even on the 51st floor. The music played from 10:30pm to 3am on most nights, which was quite bothersome. It would have been wise to pack ear plugs for a more peaceful night's rest.
I recently visited Vice Versa during a stay at Vdara and was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options. We enjoyed some fresh fruits and muffins, as well as coffee that was much more affordable than the nearby popular chain. The food and service were excellent, and I look forward to returning for a fuller meal and drinks in the lounge area in the future. Overall, I highly recommend Vice Versa to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Las Vegas.
Our recent stay at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas for our anniversary was excellent. Having previously stayed at the WA in Beverly Hills, we found this location to be just as impressive. Although we experienced a few hiccups during check-in, the staff went above and beyond to resolve the issues in a professional and friendly manner. We were very pleased with how they handled everything. The hotel itself is top-notch. The pool area was lovely, the gym was well-equipped, and the service at Zen was exceptional. We also indulged in a day at the spa, which was a nice touch. It was refreshing to stay at a non-smoking hotel without a casino - exactly what we were looking for. A special shoutout to Elyse Fisher, the concierge, who made our anniversary celebration even more special. We also enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea at the Tea Lounge on the 23rd floor - highly recommended. Overall, Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We are already looking forward to our next stay at this fantastic hotel.
