We were thrilled to have the opportunity to dine at Bistro 57 in Las Vegas. With some indecision about where to eat, we opted for this charming spot at Aliante Casino because of its convenient location. The restaurant offers ample space, making it an excellent choice for large groups. On the next visit, it would be delightful to sit by the window with a view of the casino. Food: - Pasta Carbonara: Bucatini pasta, prosciutto, egg, and black pepper. - Fried Calamari - Complimentary Bread Basket The bread selection was impressive, and the long roll stood out as a favorite. We requested some butter to accompany the oil and vinegar. The Carbonara was a tasty delight, though slightly on the greasy side. However, the true highlight was the fried calamari, which was incredibly tender, easily the best ever tasted. The addition of peppers was a lovely touch. Overall, Bistro 57 is a fantastic dining option within a local casino.
The food at Dawg House Saloon & Sportsbook in Las Vegas is impressive, while the service is rather average and the atmosphere is decent. Upon arrival, it's not immediately clear, but you can choose any available seat and a server will eventually come to take your order. The Nashville hot chicken bites and the cheese curds are particular highlights. The chicken bites are freshly fried, tender chicken thighs accompanied by ranch dressing, while the cheese curds boast a crunchy exterior and a soft, delectable interior, complemented by a Nashville hot aioli on the side. As noted, the service could use improvement, with servers not checking in frequently and drink refills sometimes taking 10 to 15 minutes. The atmosphere is fairly pleasant with numerous large screen TVs broadcasting various sports events.
We made sure to have a reservation, as recommended, and arrived with moderate expectations, knowing it wouldn't be cheap. Our server was outstanding, setting a high bar for service right from the start. When the food arrived, each dish was a delight! My steak was initially not cooked to my liking, but the issue was promptly addressed without any delay. We ordered calamari and dry-aged steak, both of which were among the best we've experienced. If only I could indulge in more!
The atmosphere at Rainforest Cafe in Las Vegas is a must-see, especially for children! The food was just alright. I tried the Taste of the Islands, which was nearly too spicy for me to finish. My family seemed to enjoy their meals more. Just before our food arrived, one of us ran out of Coke. Luckily, the waitress asked if a refill was needed, which was definitely appreciated! The ambiance is definitely a 5, and it was a hit with the little one! Service was around a 3-4 since my water was forgotten.
