Reservations are typically required at Mi Casa Grill Cantina, but we found our spot at a high-top table near the bar without much hassle. Located within the casino, there's a hint of smokiness in the air, though it didn't bother us too much. The dishes were tasty and satisfying, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. New guests at Silverton Casino can sign up for a casino card to enjoy a 50% discount on their meal here, with a maximum value of $25, redeemable within two days.
**Infestation Alert** This place receives two stars solely for its convenient location, pleasant staff, and nice bar. However, let's dive into the crux of the issues. The manager, easily identifiable by his balding hair, seemed displeased with his job and treated guests disrespectfully. The hotel's condition is severely outdated and deteriorating, yet they impose a steep $46 resort fee. Upon entering, the sink was already clogged, the toilet didn't work properly, and the room only had one towel. The worst part: room 3005 had bed bugs. After checking in around 7 PM on March 21st, I woke up to itchy skin and welts, only to discover a bed bug crawling on the bed. The front desk staff had me complete an incident report and transferred us to another room, refunding only that night's resort fee. The entire establishment is in poor condition, with hallways and elevators constantly smelling awful, and housekeeping services are infrequent at best. During our 7-day stay, the room was only cleaned twice. Additionally, guests must go to the front desk daily to get fresh towels. The pool is neglected, and scorpions have been seen lingering there. Disturbingly, despite having a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, a staff member entered unannounced as my teenage daughter was showering, delivering toilet paper we had requested the previous evening. This incident was unsettling and exemplifies a lack of respect for guests' privacy. Booking was done via booking.com. Silver Sevens needs to address these numerous issues urgently.
An absolute gem in Vegas! This place is a classic. The taste and prices are spot-on, and it stands as one of the city’s oldest establishments. You must give it a try! Our server was efficient and welcoming, offering excellent recommendations. I enjoyed a flawlessly cooked ribeye, while my companion savored the homemade chicken pot pie, reminiscent of a cherished 1970s recipe that brought back fond memories of home-cooked meals. It definitely deserves the #Nofeardining tag. Fantastic value on Fremont Street!
