We visited Urth Caffe in Las Vegas previously and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, our recent visit was disappointing. The management was lacking, illustrating a common problem these days—managers should focus on overseeing operations and guiding staff rather than performing tasks meant for front-line employees. This led to a noticeable disorganization that went unaddressed by the manager. While the coffee was enjoyable, it was the only highlight. A large breakfast was ordered, which arrived fairly quickly but, unfortunately, the food was cold. The coffee arrived 5-6 minutes after the meal, and my own meal was delayed by an additional 20 minutes, only arriving after we inquired about it. When we sought help, our presence was ignored. A more attentive manager would have noticed a customer waiting for so long without food, without needing a reminder. Speaking with the manager after the meal about the poor experience, the initial response was to remake the coffee, although that wasn't the core issue. We were then offered free dessert, but not being fans of sugary foods, we requested other options. Surprisingly, the solution offered was a refund on the coffees, again misidentifying the problem—it was about the cold food and the overall poor experience. Outlining how a situation should be handled isn’t something a customer should feel obliged to do, yet this wasn’t the service expected from such a premium location. It is hoped that feedback is taken seriously and improvements are made. Currently, I would not recommend this establishment.
Overlook Grill in Las Vegas is a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch. The shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious, and all the food was superb. Prices were quite reasonable for the area. The server was exceptionally friendly and helpful, truly going above and beyond. Highly recommended!
I tried the Fold Up at Bang Bar in Las Vegas and got to choose two flavors: spicy pork and cumin beef. The line moved quickly, and our order was ready in about 5 minutes, making it a great option for a quick meal. The spicy pork was impressive, with a rating of 4.5/5. It was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Despite being labeled as spicy, it wasn't overwhelmingly hot, so it's worth a try even if you're not a fan of spice. The cumin beef, on the other hand, earned a 3/5 rating. It had a curry-like taste, which makes sense given the use of cumin in curries, but it wasn't as juicy as the pork.
