My experience with Maverick Helicopters in Las Vegas was absolutely fantastic. The flight was incredibly smooth, the views were breathtaking, and our pilot was top-notch. I highly recommend booking the longer tour that includes flying over the dam, landing in the Grand Canyon for refreshments and snacks, and finishing off by flying over the strip at sunset. It was truly a memorable experience.
I highly recommend visiting The Mob Museum in Las Vegas! It's a great way to escape the heat for a few hours. The museum spans 3 floors and a basement, and the presentations and memorabilia are put together in a superb manner. It's one of the best exhibits/museums I've ever visited. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and there are elevators and multiple bathrooms available. We also opted for the crime lab and distillery package, which was a great addition to our visit. And don't forget to check out the very cool speakeasy in the basement for a delicious beverage or snack.
Group of 4. Stayed in a standard room at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The water pressure in the shower was lacking and the pool closed early at 5pm. The room did not have a full length mirror and minimal shampoo and soap were provided. Despite comfortable beds, the room was described as basic. The hotel is located in a great area, however, our group will opt for a different hotel on our next trip to Vegas.
I recently dined at Flour & Barley - Brick Oven Pizza and had a great experience. The pizza was especially delicious and it seems to be their specialty. While I was looking for more pasta options, the selection was limited. However, the staff was friendly and made sure we had a wonderful meal. The atmosphere was inviting and added to the overall positive experience. If you're craving tasty pizza in a warm and friendly environment, this is the place to go.
I recently dined at The Brass Fork in Las Vegas for both dinner and breakfast. The dinner was outstanding, specifically the salmon dish which was five-star quality. The portion size was perfect and the flavors were amazing. However, breakfast was a different experience. The breakfast burrito was very disappointing with odd flavors, some burnt ingredients, and others undercooked. I could only manage to eat a quarter of it. Despite this, I have always been happy with the dinner options at this restaurant and will likely return for that. But I may not be coming back for breakfast anytime soon.
The U wraps at Bang Bar in Las Vegas are a great deal at $15. We ordered the chicken teriyaki wrap and split it between two people before grabbing a couple slices of pizza upstairs at secret pizza. The wraps were filling and delicious, making for a satisfying lunch. Compared to other food we've tried in Vegas, Bang Bar was definitely a hit in terms of taste and value.
