I absolutely love seafood, so I decided to give Bacchanal Buffet a try, and it did not disappoint! The buffet is enormous, offering such a vast array of foods that it's impossible to count them all. The seafood section alone boasts crab legs, lobster claws, shrimp, cooked oysters, mussels, clams, escargot, and more. Beyond seafood, there's mouth-watering brisket, prime rib, tri-tip, and a plethora of other options that I couldn't even sample due to sheer volume. Yes, it's pricey at $85 plus tax per person, but when you consider that nearby fish and chips are $36, you definitely get your money's worth here. The service was impeccable, and with a reservation at 3:30 PM, we walked right in without it being overly crowded; it tends to get busier around 5 PM. A quick note for those with dietary restrictions: vegetarian and vegan options are limited, so keep that in mind if you or someone in your party has those preferences.
Attended a networking event at Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas prior to its official opening. Found the drink prices to be quite high. The venue itself is spacious, but the dance floor is sectioned off and becomes very crowded after midnight.
What ever happened to the amazing music and dance beats of Van deGuzman? He was incredible. Everyone loved his music. We've been searching for him but can't seem to find any info. Does anyone know where he is?
Wanted to remind everyone to be vigilant about watching their drinks. We had an amazing time at Thunder Down Under and visited Thunder Bar before and after the show. Moises was a fantastic bartender. Towards the end of the night, something alarming happened. My traveling companion was perfectly fine one minute and suddenly couldn't walk the next. She had been talking to a young boy while his friend briefly distracted me, creating a window for her drink to be spiked. Thankfully, I didn't finish my last drink as it could have been tampered with as well. Always keep a close eye on your drinks! At the time, I was so worried about her that it didn't even occur to me that our drinks could have been spiked.
First visit to Zenshin and it certainly won't be the last. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food and desserts were outstanding. The garlic chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful. The California roll, the braised beef short rib with Kim Chee fried rice, and the Halo Halo dessert were all remarkable. Eager to return and explore more of their delicious menu offerings.
