Hoops7 left a 5 star review for Slice of Vegas

After attending a show at Luxor, we decided to eat at Slice of Vegas. It was conveniently located since Mandalay Bay is connected to Luxor, making it an easy spot to reach. We opted for the Vegan Philly sandwich with fries and the vegan Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was excellent, with a generous portion size. The dressing was creamy and had the classic Caesar taste. The romaine was fresh and crisp. For those seeking that traditional Caesar salad experience, this is a great choice. Highly recommend. The Philly sandwich was also satisfying, with a large portion. It seemed like the "beef" used might have been chunks of Impossible or Beyond burger, though it would have been nice to see a "shaved" meat option, like seitan, instead of the "hamburger" style. Aside from that, the veggies were well-cooked, it was nicely cheesy, and the fries were well-seasoned. Overall, this place offers a comprehensive vegan menu for a sports bar. I’d definitely return when in Vegas. Highly recommend. It's worth noting that the take-out counter does not offer vegan options; those are available for dine-in only.

Public House at Luxor offers a classic sports bar experience conveniently located next to the casino. It's an ideal spot for those craving American-style dishes like burgers and wings. The beer is served cold, and they even offer pitchers. With plenty of TVs, you can catch all the games while enjoying your meal. Overall, it's a solid choice for a sports bar experience.

I stumbled upon 108 Eats in Las Vegas and it was such a delightful surprise. The ice cream was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. This place is a must-visit! The aroma of freshly made waffle cones hits you before you even lay eyes on them – and they are fresh, crispy, and delectable. The ice cream is the perfect treat, especially in the sweltering 118-degree weather. Don't overlook this gem when you're in Vegas, even with a sandstorm brewing in the background.

I joined the line at the entrance on a busy Friday, and the wait was only about half an hour. The prices are quite reasonable, and I enjoyed the onion soup along with steak and lobster. The portions were generous and satisfying, though the steak had a few tough sections; it was still enjoyable. I rate it five stars for being one of the best places around in terms of value and overall experience.

Golden Gate Casino in Las Vegas is a quintessential classic on Fremont Street, steeped in the city’s rich history since its establishment in 1906. This iconic spot effortlessly combines old-school charm with a modern vibe. Upon entering, you're greeted by a genuine vintage Vegas ambiance, complete with historic photographs and the energetic presence of the iconic dancing dealers. While smaller than the grandiose resorts on the Strip, its intimacy and character are part of its allure, offering an exciting array of gaming options, including classic coin-operated slot machines that truly capture the essence of old Vegas. For those seeking fun and unique experiences in Las Vegas, Golden Gate Casino is a must-visit destination. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a fan of vintage Las Vegas, or just in search of an entertaining stop while exploring Fremont Street, this place is definitely worth a visit. Enjoy a drink at the Prohibition-era inspired Bar Prohibition!, try your luck at the gaming tables, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a casino that has withstood the test of time. It’s the ideal spot to experience a delightful blend of nostalgia and excitement, and sharing it with others is always a joy!

The Cromwell has a very appealing interior. Although I didn't stay at the hotel, the experience at the casino was fantastic. The dealer, Tina, was exceptionally sweet, and her smile was what drew us to the table. The food was also amazing.

The room at Palace Station was pleasant, and the Chinese restaurant was a highlight of the visit. I had reserved a non-smoking room, but upon arrival, I was informed that my booked room was unavailable. They offered me a different non-smoking room with a view for an additional $15. While unexpected situations can occur, I was disappointed that they didn't make additional efforts to accommodate without extra charges. This experience influenced my decision to give a lower star rating.

Visited Paris Las Vegas in early November 2024 for a conference and was absolutely amazed by the experience. Among all the hotels on the strip, it stood out as the most family-friendly and scenic. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the action. No complaints here—loved every moment and can't wait to return to Paris Las Vegas!

High praise for the newly renovated rooms at Rio in Las Vegas. The design is incredibly tasteful. For the price, you receive excellent value with a suite featuring a very spacious living area, complete with a pull-out sofa and a double sink. Now, about the new shower: it's equipped with a clever glass cutout that allows you to turn it on without getting wet. However, the glass panel could be larger, as some water does splash out. Despite this minor issue, considering the overall experience and value, it's still deserving of a 5-star rating.
