We were feeling overwhelmed by the many dining options in Las Vegas, so we decided to try Flour & Barley - Brick Oven Pizza. We were pleased to find both inside and outside seating available. The service was excellent - our waitress was friendly and attentive. The pizzas arrived quickly and were delicious. I highly recommend trying the Calabrese and the Flying’ Hawaiian pizzas. They were perfectly balanced with just the right amount of toppings. The prices were fair for the quality of food we received.
I recently dined at The Game in Las Vegas and tried the Swiss burger while my companion ordered the Southwestern Sliders. Unfortunately, both dishes were underwhelming. The flavors were lacking and the ingredients seemed to be haphazardly thrown together. I couldn't even discern the taste of mushrooms or any sauce on my burger, which ended up being dry and flavorless. Additionally, the addition of tomato and lettuce to a Swiss burger seemed odd and made me question if all the burgers taste the same regardless of what you order. The food felt uninspired and lacked any real culinary prowess. On the bright side, the prices were reasonable. The service was lackluster as well, with our waiter appearing uninterested in providing a pleasant dining experience. It felt like we were all just going through the motions. My companion ordered a cranberry vodka double, but unfortunately, the drink was lacking in vodka flavor. However, the seating options were good, with a TV at every booth for entertainment.
The drinks at Ringer Wings, Pizza & Sliders Sports Book were decent, but the prices were quite high. We ordered a dark and stormy and a double crown, which ended up costing us $55. While the drinks were good, we felt they were overpriced for what we received.
Spent Father's Day weekend at Cabana 3 at Aria's Pools and Cabanas and had a fantastic time. The attendant, Hailee, was exceptional, anticipating our needs and providing great service whether we were in the pool or the cabana. The pool was clean, peaceful, and just the right temperature. My only issue was that gratuity was automatically included in the cabana cost, which seemed a bit high at 20% on a $600 bill. Overall, a great experience with just a small nitpick.
Public House at Luxor in Las Vegas is a fun spot to hang out with friends. We tried the Philly cheesesteak with fries and found it delicious, while the cheeseburger was also very tasty. Unfortunately, the ribs were tough, but our waitress handled the situation well by taking the dish off the bill and mentioning it to the kitchen staff. Overall, a great place for a casual meal and good service.
My partner and I visited The Chandelier on a weekday and were pleased to find it not too crowded. We were promptly seated and our server quickly brought us bottled water. I ordered a cosmo while my partner tried the Strange Bedfellows cocktail. We were so impressed with the drinks that we ended up getting a second round, opting for the Champagne Socialist and the American Gothic. Each cocktail had a distinct and bold flavor. Despite the $20 price tag, we felt the drinks were worth it. Compared to the $14 drinks at our hotel that left us unimpressed, The Chandelier Lounge definitely excelled in crafting high-quality cocktails. I would highly recommend a visit during your trip to Las Vegas.
Visited Gallagher's Steakhouse before attending a show in Vegas to expand my dining options. Despite the crowded and noisy atmosphere (which may have been due to a Vegas Golden Knights game happening the same night), we were promptly seated and served by a great waiter. He recommended the signature dry-aged New York strip, which turned out to be tasty but lacking a wow factor. The restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, with lots of old signed photos, but nothing too impressive. The mushrooms and Brussels sprouts sides were passable, not exceptional. Overall, Gallagher's Steakhouse is a decent spot to dine if someone else suggests it, but it wouldn't be my top pick for a must-visit Vegas restaurant.
