Re:Match in Las Vegas offers a super convenient and fun spot for people watching right on the strip. It doesn't focus much on ambiance, but that's not its aim. Ended up visiting twice during my trip because it was quick, easy, lo-fi, and relatively cheap compared to other options.

Journey1 left a 4 star review for Flamingo

Had a fantastic stay at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. While the hotel is a bit older, it's very affordable and offers great value for the price. The staff was exceptionally helpful, and the housekeeping service was impeccable, keeping the room clean and fresh daily. The room itself was nice, bright, and comfortable—a solid basic hotel room. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the bed was very comfy. The only minor issue was that the toilet was a bit hard to flush and got clogged easily. The location is perfect, close to the Linq Promenade and other conveniences on the Strip. Loved seeing the flamingos, birds, and fish on the property. The pool was decent, nothing extraordinary but certainly not bad. One tip: avoid buying drinks at the pool, as they are quite pricey at $16 for a seltzer.

Journey1 left a 3 star review for MR CHOW

The atmosphere at MR CHOW in Las Vegas is truly top-notch, making it one of the most beautiful and entertaining restaurants in the city. The kinetic chandelier is a standout feature—silently graceful and undeniably unique. Be sure to check out the view of the Caesars garden and pool from the balcony behind the bar; it's worth a look. However, the food is quite average, with small portions that come at very high prices. On a positive note, the service is commendable, with professional and attentive wait staff. Despite this being a return visit, it's likely to be the last. $250 for a meal for two, with no leftovers, just doesn't seem worth it.

Journey1 left a 4 star review for Project BBQ

While exploring the Fremont Street Experience, we stumbled upon Project BBQ, and it immediately caught our eye with its vibrant, welcoming design. It's actually a food truck! Naturally, we had to stop and give it a try. After browsing the menu, we opted for the Pulled Pork sandwich with Elote. We decided to split the sandwich to save on both calories and money. As many had warned us, Vegas can be pricey. The sandwich was quite good, and the BBQ flavor was particularly enjoyable. The service was prompt, and the cashier was friendly. The only reason for not giving a full five stars is the stand-up tables, which meant we had to eat on our feet. That wasn't ideal for our knees. Other than that, everything else was great.

Din Tai Fung in Las Vegas exceeded all expectations. The dumplings are freshly crafted, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Our server, Jeffrey, was exceptionally attentive and coordinated. We tried a range of dishes and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Plus, the bathroom was spotless. Highly recommended!

Now this place is FANCY. I ordered the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes, and it was actually pretty good. However, what stole the show was the spinach and the truffle macaroni and cheese, which were both AMAZING. We couldn’t even finish all of it. Our waitress was also amazing and kept checking in on us, which was very nice. Highly recommend.
