I recently visited Henderson and chose to stay at Sunset Station. I'm very pleased with my room on the 21st floor, and the staff has been fantastic. Although my stay is brief, preventing me from enjoying all the amenities, this has proven to be an excellent choice near the heart of the city, offering easy access to everything I need, as well as convenient opportunities to visit with family. While I'm not heavily into gambling these days, I found the casino to be quite nice. The games are up-to-date, and with a bit of persistence, you might even score some winnings to take home.
Montecristo Cigar Bar in Las Vegas offers a pleasant atmosphere, but the pricing is a significant downside. Cigars that might typically cost around $10-15 are marked up to $40-50, and drinks that are usually $10 elsewhere are priced at $30. Despite the appealing setting of the lounge, the extremely high costs make it unlikely that I will return.
Stopped by Diablo's Cantina for a quick snack and decided on nachos. While they were decent, I've had better elsewhere. That said, the portion size was impressive! The atmosphere was appealing and had a welcoming vibe. Our waitress was friendly and made sure to let us know before the kitchen closed in case we wanted to order anything else.
I stayed in a spacious, nearly 1000 sq ft suite with a balcony at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The room was very comfortable and pleasant. If possible, I highly recommend upgrading to a balcony overlooking the fountains. The hotel offers plenty of activities, and my favorite was visiting the overlook bar by one of the four pools to enjoy a protein smoothie. Afterward, I would head to the Foosball table for a few games and some drinks before heading out again. The experience was consistently delightful!
