We had a fantastic time at Bali Hai Golf Course. The course was in excellent condition, especially for June. The $169 price tag after tax included a cart with GPS and the ability to listen to your own music, which was a nice touch. The only downside was that there were quite a few holes where the carts had to stay on the cart path for a significant distance, which was challenging in the heat. Additionally, the drinks were a bit on the expensive side at $40 for 2 shooters and a coke. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely play again for $169.
Our group tried a variety of dishes at Cipriani in Las Vegas, including drinks, calamari & shrimp appetizer, octopus, and rigatoni bolognese. Overall, the food was mediocre at best. The calamari and octopus were overcooked and chewy, while the pasta lacked flavor. Despite being a convenient option for those visiting the Encore Theater, the dining experience was somewhat disappointing.
Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is a fantastic mall with a wide range of shopping and dining options. Whether you're looking for a quick bite, a lively bar, or a relaxing sit-down meal, you'll find it here. The mall features a variety of shops including art stores, clothing boutiques, and souvenir shops. One unique highlight is a spot where a robot can mix your drink for you. If you're in need of a break from the casino, exploring Miracle Mile is a great option.
My stay at Horseshoe Las Vegas was far from enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired, with dirty halls, broken elevators, and rude housekeeping staff. The elevators were a common topic of conversation among guests due to their unreliability, with some guests even getting stuck for extended periods of time. Housekeeping services were equally disappointing, with one incident where I had to wait until after midnight to access my room because the staff member refused to clean it at a convenient time. My room itself was dusty and not properly cleaned, with evidence of gum stains on the bed, hard water stains on the shower head, and rust stains on the bathroom vent. Overall, my experience at Horseshoe Las Vegas was subpar and I would not recommend staying here, especially for business purposes. The lack of cleanliness and poor maintenance of the rooms made my stay uncomfortable and frustrating.
I would give Mi Casa Grill Cantina a solid 4 stars. The cuts of chicken in my beef/chicken fajitas were a bit odd and thin, lacking seasoning. However, the portions were generous with 4 strips of beef and chicken, rice, beans, guac, and sour cream for $18. My friend enjoyed her cheese enchilada, which looked like your typical Mexican restaurant enchiladas. The lobster mango guac was a standout dish, flavorful and made table side so you could adjust the heat level. We also tried the el peche rita pitcher, slightly sweet but very refreshing. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry.
