At Americano, I experienced a great atmosphere with friendly staff. It did take a bit of time to be served, about 10 minutes, so I was longing for my steak and eggs to arrive. As I requested for my eggs to be served over easy and my steak medium rare, I was unfortunately served over hard eggs and a well-done steak. The waiter was apologetic and offered to redo my order, yet I had already waited more than 15 minutes so I decided to make the best of the situation. The food wasn't terrible, my steak was a little tough, but the toast and the jam were terrific. Additionally, the orange juice served in a Mason jar was delightful. As a token of apologetic sentiment, I got a small Mason jar of orange juice and $10 off my bill. I will definitely be returning to Americano on my next trip.
Friendly bartenders and good drinks, but not a place I would plan on spending longer than an hour or two.
We had seen Opium in the past and loved it. Unfortunately, the production had gone through many changes and none for the better. We found ourselves continuously checking our watches as the acts and plot no longer held our attention. Unless the show goes back to its original form, it's doubtful it will remain open much longer.
