I had a fantastic experience at the Italian restaurant, Allegro, located in the Wynn Hotel. The atmosphere is pleasantly laid-back, and the menu offers a variety of delectable options. The grilled octopus was flavorful, the veal Parmesan was exceptional, and the salmon pizza flatbread was light, crispy, and delicious. The drinks are expertly crafted and well-balanced. I highly recommend visiting this spot for a delicious, quick meal if you're staying at the Wynn!
Starting with the shrimp, it’s evident that freshness and seasoning are priorities here. The shrimp is perfectly cooked, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The presentation adds to the fun and lively atmosphere. The baby back ribs truly stand out, featuring tender, fall-off-the-bone meat richly flavored with a deep, smoky barbecue sauce. Each bite offers a robust, satisfying taste that encourages you to savor every moment. The generous portion size ensures a satisfying dining experience. The cornbread is another must-try item. Wonderfully moist with a slightly sweet flavor, it pairs beautifully with the savory dishes. Served warm, it adds a comforting, homely touch to the meal. The truffled macaroni is indulgence at its finest, boasting a rich, creamy cheese sauce elevated by the unmistakable aroma and taste of truffle. The pasta is cooked to perfection, and the truffle adds a luxurious depth, making the dish truly special. This restaurant excels at making every bite count.
What an incredible restaurant experience! The service was outstanding, with a friendly team, excellent drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere. Happy hour was absolutely worth it! The squash blossoms were delightful, the shrimp were sizable and flavorful, and the table bread and salads were impeccable. Can't wait to return!
Ringer Wings, Pizza & Sliders Sports Book in Las Vegas has made some notable changes to their menu. They've discontinued the burger sliders, offering only two types of chicken sliders now. I opted for the bacon cheeseburger instead, but found it to be underwhelming, lacking in seasoning, and overpriced, especially since it doesn't come with fries or a drink. Prices have increased significantly; plain waffle fries that used to cost $3 are now $8.99, and burgers that were previously around $9 are now priced at $17.99 each. The pizzas have also changed, with the crust being paper-thin and lacking flavor. I ordered two slices of sausage and pepperoni pizza, but the sausage pieces are now much smaller than before. Alongside the burger, I got plain waffle fries and just water, bringing the total to $48.73. The overall experience was disappointing and did not seem worth the price.
The food at Pasta Cucina was fairly typical for Italian cuisine. The glasses seemed like they were only partially polished, with attention only to the tops. The calamari had excellent breading, but unfortunately, the calamari itself was excessively rubbery. The pasta in the piccata dish was severely overcooked, as evident from how mushy it appeared. It's surprising that it was served in that condition. Given that it was a weeknight and not particularly busy, at least this restaurant can now be crossed off the list.
In Summary: -The JW Marriott next to Rampart Casino underwent renovations in the summer of 2024. -It's now reopened with modern design updates. -I found the lighter color scheme throughout the hotel to be quite impressive. -The lobby has been revamped and feels more polished. -The room was spacious and attractive, featuring a mini walk-in closet. -Everything from paint to carpet has been updated. All in all, the JW Marriott already had a pleasant layout and now with its refreshed look, it truly is a wonderful place to stay.
