This review is for the cabanas at Luxor Pools in Las Vegas. I would recommend avoiding the cabanas closest to the pyramid in the north pool due to the loud music played by the DJ. For a more relaxed atmosphere, consider renting a cabana in the south pool. Despite this, the staff at Luxor Pools was extremely friendly and helpful, making it a great value for the price.
My group had a great time at Dig This Las Vegas with Mike as our guide. The staff, including friendly Ashley at the front desk, were all attentive and welcoming. The activity was fun, well-guided, and just challenging enough. Plus, Mike had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend it!
Located next to the Santa Fe Station Casino, Century 16 Movies in Las Vegas has convenient parking and a walkway that leads directly to the theater. The theater itself is clean and tidy, with comfortable reclining seats and spacious seating arrangements. The atmosphere is not too crowded, making it a great place to catch a movie. Additionally, there is a bowling alley next door for added entertainment. The snack bar is well-stocked with goodies, including popcorn.
Definitely recommend trying the Shroom Burger at Shake Shack in Las Vegas. It's the best veggie burger I've ever had - the portobello mushroom patty stuffed with cheese was so crunchy and flavorful, without any strong mushroom taste. The buttery bread was also a nice touch. The chicken sandwich wasn't bad either - juicy and crunchy. It's great that they offer non-beef options. But the Shroom Burger was definitely the standout for me. The shakes were also delicious, with a more delicate flavor than other brands. Can't wait to enjoy one when summer rolls around!
LAVO Restaurant is a great spot for brunch! The service was wonderful, although we did find that our host was a little less attentive than we would have liked. When it comes to ordering, I suggest sharing dishes as they come in generous portions. This not only prevents food wastage but also allows you to try a variety of dishes. Overall, I highly recommend dining at LAVO Restaurant.
Catch in Las Vegas is a great spot for seafood lovers. Highly recommend making a reservation as the staff are friendly and attentive. The only downside was the pretentious attitudes of some patrons, but if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, you'll feel right at home. Don't forget to take a picture at the popular entryway!
I stumbled upon Sundance Grill in the midst of a noisy casino, and was pleasantly surprised by the tranquil atmosphere. Our waitress, Lisa, was exceptional - very attentive and friendly. We opted for breakfast for dinner and were blown away. The country French toast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend trying it!
Charlie's Bar + Grill is a fantastic spot for grabbing a bite near the Wynn sports book. Conveniently connected to the sports book, they have TVs that can be tuned to whatever you'd like to watch. I've visited a few times and have always enjoyed the food and drinks. My personal favorite is the Meatball Hero sandwich, and the crinkle cut fries are always crispy and delicious. It's nice to have a place where you can count on getting classic burger, wings, and sandwich options.
We stayed at Silver Sevens for one night due to its proximity to the airport. The check-in process went smoothly and we were able to arrange for a late check-out. The room itself was average, with some stains on the carpet that made us hesitant to walk barefoot. However, the most disappointing aspect was the bed sheets. Upon pulling back the covers, we found multiple stains, dirt, and what appeared to be toothpaste under the pillow. There was even makeup on one of the pillowcases. Despite bringing this to the attention of the front desk, we were informed that there was no 24-hour housekeeping. After some persistence, we were provided with replacement sheets that did not fit properly. The hallway also had a strong smell of weed, which was not addressed until security intervened. Overall, we would not recommend staying at Silver Sevens unless you have no other choice. Consider bringing disinfectant wipes, Lysol, and even your own sheets to ensure a cleaner stay.
