I absolutely adore this restaurant. It has become a must-visit every time we are in Las Vegas and we enjoy it more and more with each visit. The fresh bread and butter that is served to start is always a delightful way to begin the meal. On our last visit, we shared a Caesar salad, and my dining companion enjoyed the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, which is their favorite dish. As for me, I couldn't resist the calamari appetizer, which is always a hit. Despite feeling quite full from the bread, salad, and calamari, I couldn't resist ordering the balsamic chicken pizza - and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious. My family polished off the pizza, and my dining companion even enjoyed leftovers for breakfast the next day. I would highly recommend Pasta Cucina at Sunset Station for a delightful dining experience.
Recently visited Raiders Tavern & Grill for dinner on a Tuesday evening at 6pm. We were seated promptly without reservations. The room was quite loud, with TVs surrounding the room adding to the noise from other diners. It was difficult to hear my table guests over the commotion. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and my companion had the fish tacos. Both dishes were well-cooked and seasoned nicely. For dessert, we tried the butter cake which had a cute presentation but was unfortunately very dry. Overall, the prices were reasonable and the food was enjoyable.
I stumbled upon The Filament Bar and was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and upkeep despite being located on bustling Fremont Street. I visited on an NFL Sunday and despite the busy crowd, the service was able to keep up with the demand.
The Lobby Bar at Encore in Las Vegas is a great spot during the day with super attentive service. However, in the evening it gets much busier and the service can suffer, leading to longer wait times for table service while groups are prioritized. Nuts are inconsistently provided with orders, but when they are included they are delicious. The atmosphere is nice with comfortable seating, a good selection of drinks, and reasonable prices considering the setting. It may benefit from more staff during busier times to improve the overall experience.
I recently went on the sunset horseback riding trail with Cowboy Trail Rides and it was absolutely stunning. The trail meandered through BLM land with Joshua trees and a backdrop of mountains as the sun set, creating a serene atmosphere. Our guides, Marie and Kellie, were fantastic - kind, informative, and friendly. It was a truly beautiful ride and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nevada. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in the area!
The huevos rancheros at Chayo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar in Las Vegas were the best I've ever had. The fried corn tortilla and egg over carnitas were incredibly delicious. My companion ordered the giant avocado toast and enjoyed it as well. We will definitely be returning to try more of their menu.
