The room was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. I called twice to request blankets and waited for 2 hours, despite assurances that someone would come immediately, but no one arrived. Additionally, the room was short on toiletries, offering only a small tube that wasn't sufficient for one person. Pros: - Renovated rooms and hotel - Free parking - Monorail stop - Quiet atmosphere compared to other bustling hotels Cons: - Poor service - Location is a bit further from the rest of the Strip
This was the first stop on a Lip Smacking Foodie Tour and unfortunately, it didn't meet expectations. Upon arrival, the restaurant wasn't prepared for the group, prompting the tour guide to give an impromptu walk through the casino as they got ready. This initial encounter left much to be desired. The service felt hurried, which was unexpected for an establishment with an upscale reputation. The group was seated in a beautiful, albeit dimly lit room with a ceiling adorned in mother of pearl. This area accommodated all 18 participants, and was reportedly a $5,000 reservation. Cold chips and salsa were placed on the table, but the salsas were unevenly distributed among guests. A pre-prepared cocktail was also provided; it was quite small and overly sweet. The entrees arrived soon after, featuring the "signature" dish of enchiladas. The seafood enchilada came with a mild green sauce, while the chicken version had a thin red sauce. Both dishes were lukewarm and lacked excitement. Accompanying rice and beans were somewhat dry, relying on salsa for flavor enhancement. Overall, the experience was not particularly impressive.
We recently visited the MGM Grand Buffet for breakfast and had a delightful experience. The variety of food pleased our group, and as someone who enjoys both meat and vegetables, the seasoning was perfect—not too salty or bland. The chicken, ribs, and roast beef were all tender and delicious, and the seafood was fresh and flavorful. Our rating was four stars instead of five because the weekend buffet price included unlimited mimosas, which we didn't indulge in.
We visited Sadelle's on December 8, 2024, and the experience was incredible! The magic began with the stunning Christmas decorations at the Bellagio, setting a perfect scene even before we entered. Despite not having reservations, we were seated within 15-20 minutes. Sadelle's itself is a visual treat, offering a wonderful view of the Bellagio pool and conservatory. Depending on your seating, you can enjoy the beautiful holiday decorations while dining. Our meal consisted of steak and eggs, along with the remarkable French toast. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, as requested, and was well-seasoned, flavorful, and tender—a high-quality cut of meat. The French toast was a highlight! It is soaked in a bread-pudding-like mix and then grilled, resulting in a crispy exterior and soft, bread-pudding-like interior. Truly delicious and not overly sweet, this dish is ideal for breakfast or even as a dessert. A mimosa complemented the meal, and it was so delightful that having more would have been tempting! The fresh orange juice and elegant glassware made it feel never-ending—definitely worth the price. From our table, we had a wonderful view of the Christmas decorations, adding to the festive atmosphere as we enjoyed coffee and mimosas. The service was attentive, and the breakfast surpassed typical expectations—every aspect was delightful. We're eagerly anticipating a return visit to explore the lunch menu!
I'd strongly advise against staying at this hotel. We requested an extra blanket from housekeeping since the beds had no comforters, but it never arrived. Additionally, I had left some poker chips and cash on the table before stepping out to let housekeeping clean the room. When I returned, the chips and money were missing, and an empty soda can from the housekeeper was left in their place. After informing security about a potential theft, their response was that it might have been considered a "tip" or an "honest mistake," and I never received any follow-up. Moreover, during a poker game, I held three kings and was supposed to win the pot. However, the dealer quickly tried to claim a straight, which was clearly not possible. Luckily, the other players supported me, and after calling the pit boss, I was granted the win. If it hadn't been for a training class I needed to attend, I would have checked out immediately. The only redeeming aspects of this hotel are the food options and the fantastic valet service.
OYO in Las Vegas offers a great experience, even if the casino isn't the most modern. The staff is exceptional and provides excellent service. The gaming machines are decent, and there's a Dollar Blackjack table that adds to the fun. A special shoutout to casino host Tiffany Phillips for being truly outstanding and attentive. Contrary to some negative reviews I read, my experience was hassle-free, and the alarm never sounded during my stay. I traveled with my dog, and the entire staff was incredibly welcoming to him. The daytime bartender at the underground was particularly fantastic, even going out of her way to greet my dog. I'm definitely planning to return; everyone there is amazing.
This place truly impressed us! The Kansas City aged steak was amazing, and the old fashioned was delightful. The service was excellent throughout. The standout? The bone marrow—calling it impressive doesn’t do it justice! I even snapped a picture. Thank you!
I had a truly enjoyable dinner at Alder & Birch in Las Vegas. Our server was attentive and prompt, ensuring a great dining experience. The food was delicious and satisfying without leaving us overly full. The ice cream sandwich is huge! The ambiance and decor strike a perfect balance, offering good lighting in key areas while maintaining a classic steakhouse atmosphere.
