Casa Calavera in Las Vegas offers good food, a nice and modern ambiance, and exceptional service. The accommodating nature of our server was impressive, as there were no issues with any extra requests we made. With a large group, we ordered quite a bit, and everyone seemed satisfied, aside from a few comments about the spiciness of the salsa and guacamole. Overall, the dining experience was positive.
Amazing food! The line was definitely long; I waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes even though there were only 10 people ahead. However, I would absolutely come back for the oysters—they are that good! 👌👌
Virgil's Real BBQ in Las Vegas offers a stellar atmosphere with the unmistakable aroma of a genuine smokehouse restaurant. We opted for the BBQ combo, selecting the pulled chicken and spare ribs. Everything was exceptional, and the portion size was perfect for sharing, although it's easy to indulge with food this delectable. To complement our meal, we ordered a couple of Virgil's margaritas in their signature "Big Mug." While they were a bit tart and could have used a touch more triple sec, they were still quite satisfying. Notably, if you don't finish your drink, you can request a to-go cup. We mentioned a milestone birthday in our group, and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary banana dessert, which was both a thoughtful gesture and absolutely delicious. This was the standout meal of our trip, and I would highly recommend Virgil's to anyone seeking a straightforward, incredibly tasty dining experience.
Cafe Bottega in Las Vegas delivers amazing food, super friendly service, and great value for money. Definitely a must-try! The Vegetarian Flatbread and Grilled Cheese Sandwich 🥪 were both freshly made and packed with flavor.
The food at Red 8 in Las Vegas is outstanding. The vegetable spring rolls are delicious, offering a delightful blend of crispiness on the outside and softness on the inside. The jade dumplings are equally impressive. The Singapore vegetable vermicelli is also quite tasty. The vegetable fried rice with tofu is good, though it could use a bit more salt – a sentiment that also applies to the vermicelli. The ambiance is exceptionally classy, providing a refined dining experience. The service is excellent, characterized by professionalism and punctuality.
They allowed me to play solo, and I quickly learned that golfing is much more enjoyable with company, haha. The course itself is quite nice, and I got to use the driver on 7 holes. The only downside was having to avoid the sprinklers on about 4 holes, both on the tee and greens.
During a recent vacation stay, a visit to 8 Noodle Bar turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Initially skeptical about a noodle bar for a vacation meal, the experience quickly changed my mind. The ramen was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. The generous portions were almost too much to handle, making it a fulfilling meal that left us both satisfied. The dining area is quite compact, which could be a downside. However, if it's crowded and you're staying at the Red Rock, consider getting your meal to go and enjoy it in your room. Just a heads up, the meal is so hearty and relaxing that you might find yourself too full to do much else for the rest of the day – definitely a great option for a bedtime snack.
