I usually stay at Mandalay Bay but gave Park a try last trip. Very happy with the entire experience. The rooms are a bit smaller than I expected but the place is. Very clean from the casino floor to the standard rooms. Park MGM also has a lot of dining options and you are really close to New York New York for even more. There's even a free tram that runs from Park to Aria so its super easy to get to the center of the strip.
A fun spot to hang out and listen to some live music. A lot of Top 40 stuff and alternative. Bar has a solid selection of drinks as well. 172 isn't a place I would go way out of my way to visit, but it's worth checking out if you are nearby.
Personally, I believe Mandalay Bay is the best resort in Las Vegas. Being located on the end of the strip (the nice end), its easy to get in and out of and also close to all the action. Mandalay Bay also has everything you need right on site. Restaurants, entertainment, an amazing pool, and nightlife can all be had without leaving the property. The rooms are clean, the views are beautiful, and the price is reasonable. I find it hard to find any faults at Mandalay Bay.
