If you're a fan of Titanic memorabilia, you'll find plenty to see at the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition in Las Vegas. However, some visitors may be disappointed by the limited number of real artifacts on display. The exhibition relies heavily on replicas and dynamic lighting to create an exciting atmosphere. While the experience may feel somewhat lacking in substance, the clever money-making strategy is evident. One highlight is receiving a boarding pass with passenger details that allows you to discover their fate at the end of the exhibition. Overall, some may feel that the exhibition is more focused on profit rather than providing a comprehensive historical experience.
My experience at the Fremont Hotel and Casino was quite positive. Check-in was quick and effortless, and the elevator was conveniently located. The room, although on the smaller side, was comfortable and the bed was great. Despite being in the heart of Vegas, I didn't find it to be too noisy. A little bit of noise is to be expected in such a lively city. However, the one issue I encountered was with housekeeping. During my 6-night stay, our room was only cleaned once. Even though we saw housekeeping on our floor in the mornings, they didn't come to clean our room. When I inquired about this at the front desk, I was told they would drop off towels and sheets for us to make the bed ourselves. This was disappointing as part of the reason I stay in a hotel while on vacation is for the convenience of having my room cleaned. I hope Fremont can address this issue to improve the overall experience for guests.
Our group of 6 had a great experience at Triple 7 Restaurant and Brewery. The portion sizes were generous and worth the prices. Our appetizers arrived quickly, along with a pizza for one of the kids. The Poke Nachos were amazing and the onion rings were perfect, served with a side of ranch dressing. My husband enjoyed the massive prime rib, which he was able to take home for leftovers. The kids loved the Mochiko Chicken with Mac and rice, the green cheeseburger, and the classic cheeseburger. The French fries were huge, crispy, and cooked perfectly. I tried the teriyaki bowl with salmon, but it wasn't my favorite compared to the rest of the delicious food we had. Service started a bit rough, but improved as our meal went on, and we left very satisfied. Thank you to everyone at Triple 7 Restaurant and Brewery!
The Pool At Encore in Las Vegas offers a fantastic pool experience. While the food might not be the best option, the drinks are definitely worth trying.
I recently visited Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips in Las Vegas for the second time, and it was just as impressive as my first visit! The portions were generous and the fish was large, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend eating it right away to fully enjoy the flavors. The truffle fries were delicious, and the lemonade had a great balance of tanginess and sweetness. I also appreciated the fact that they provided Tabasco bottles for customers to use. Overall, it was a great dining experience at Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips.
The food at Grand Lux Cafe at the Palazzo in Las Vegas is adequate, but not exceptional. The large portions are satisfying without being overly greasy. Service was a bit slow, but our waitress was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere in the secluded back section where we were seated was somewhat lacking.
We tried the chicken tenders and a burger with a drink at Johnny Rockets in Las Vegas. The tenders seemed like they were frozen and processed, not the best quality. They were on the smaller side, as was the burger. Despite this, the food was hot and fresh. However, for the price we paid, we felt like the portions were too small. In the end, we would have preferred to pay that amount for a more substantial sit-down dinner.
I visited The Sterling Spoon Cafe for late night dining on a weekend. The menu was short and I found out they are no longer open 24 hours. Despite being the only server on duty, our server did a great job and it was clear he was putting in a lot of effort. Kudos to him for his hard work.
Fantastic course with a good mix of challenging holes. However, it was disappointing that there were not enough carts for all players, leading to some having to share with solo players. This is unacceptable considering the high price point of the course.
The Cromwell is conveniently located in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, making it easy to access all the attractions. Check-in was a breeze thanks to its small size. The complimentary drinks at the bar, especially the lemon drop and old fashioned, are top-notch. While you may need to max bet a bit at the bar, the drinks are definitely worth it. We plan on returning, but suggest a quick clean under the dressers as we found quite a mess underneath one.
Recently went on a Wild West Horseback Adventure in Las Vegas and it was fantastic. The staff picked us up at our hotel, drove us to the ranch, and took us on a one-hour ride through beautiful scenery. After the ride, we were treated to a delicious dinner before being driven back to our hotel. The total experience lasted about five hours. Our guides, Channel and Joe, were incredibly friendly, fun to talk to, and overall fantastic. Thank you for providing us with such a memorable experience.
