Hotel Vdara in Las Vegas offers a casino-free environment, perfect for those looking for a quieter stay. The well-maintained property provides excellent amenities like a gym and pool for relaxation and exercise. However, with a lack of complimentary amenities such as water and coffee in the rooms, and exorbitant minibar prices, the overall experience falls short. Not having a served breakfast and an early checkout time further adds to the inconvenience. While Hotel Vdara may be a suitable option for business trips, there are better alternatives available.
Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas has a fantastic atmosphere, perfect for a night out. However, be warned that the lines to get in can be frustrating and the best DJs don't start playing until around 2:00AM. Be prepared for a long wait and potentially sore feet. Drinks are on the pricey side, averaging $30 or more.
The Angry Butcher at Sam's Town Casino is a fantastic dining spot. My steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The rosemary potatoes were also a hit - crispy and well-seasoned. The restaurant offers indoor seating as well as patio seating with a view of the Mystic Falls waterfall. The service we received was top-notch, with our server being very attentive.
I visited High Roller in Las Vegas with my nephew who had never been before, and we both had a great time. The capsules were nicely cooled and provided a welcome break from the 108° heat that day. The view was absolutely amazing, especially when seeing all the lights over Las Vegas at night. Even during the day, the sight from High Roller is beautiful. The staff even takes commemorative photos before you board the ride, which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this attraction and suggest buying tickets in advance. I chose the anytime ticket for flexibility, but there are also cheaper time-specific options available.
