My family and I booked several treatments at Spa Costa del Sur for a day of relaxation. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the scheduling and service that left us feeling disappointed. Initially, my wife's nail appointment was unexpectedly moved to before her massage, which meant she couldn't have them painted as planned. Additionally, despite booking a female massage therapist for my wife, she was surprised with a male therapist instead. When brought to the attention of the supervisor, Romaina, she only offered a 20% discount on the massage portion of the treatment. We found this response to be inadequate given the circumstances and the amount of money we had spent. Overall, we were not satisfied with how the situation was handled and as a result, we do not plan on returning to Spa Costa del Sur. We would not recommend this spa to others based on our experience.
If you're looking to splurge, you might have high expectations for CUT By Wolfgang Puck. The filet mignon did not disappoint, it was delicious. The staff were helpful and accommodating to someone in our group with allergies. However, the service was slow and frustrating as other tables of the same size were served before us. The presentation of the dishes was lacking. Overall, the experience felt overpriced. There are other high-end restaurants that offer better value with more beautiful presentation, superior taste, and exceptional service. Consider your options before dining here.
During our visit to Pools at Excalibur in Las Vegas in the winter (1st week of February), we found that the main pool was closed, leaving only the small pool open for use. Despite the website indicating that the pool was heated, we didn't feel much warmth in the water. Fortunately, the sun came out, making the experience more bearable. The lack of crowds meant plenty of available lounge chairs, and the presence of two hot tubs helped combat the chill after swimming. Unfortunately, the bar was closed during our visit, so we were unable to order drinks. Despite these inconveniences, the kids had a great time and we were able to enjoy a relaxing day together as a family. ❤️
Impressed with the quality and quantity of seafood at Big Sur Oyster Bar in South Point Casino! Opted to sit at the bar for a quicker seating and were met with quick and friendly service. The menu offered a variety of options, and we started with complimentary chowder - a thick and buttery clam chowder that was equally tasty in white and red. The portion of clams and potatoes was just right, and the warm rolls were a nice touch. The Crab & Shrimp Cobb Salad was delicious with a generous amount of lump crab, while the Cajun Style Asparagus Pasta with Shrimp was outstanding. We'll definitely be back for more!
I'm updating my review from 5 stars to 2 due to the inefficient staff and slow service at Pizza Cake By Buddy V. During my recent visit, I waited over 20 minutes in line with no progress. The staff seemed unorganized, with employees just standing around instead of attending to customers waiting in line. Rather than taking initiative to reheat the cold pizza on display, they waited until customers reached the register to start the process. This lack of efficiency led to unnecessarily long wait times. I recommend avoiding this poorly managed establishment and opting for a slice of pizza from the food court instead. Not only is it more affordable, but it tastes just as good. I will not be returning to Pizza Cake By Buddy V.
Sbarro in Las Vegas is a great spot for a quick on-the-go lunch. I opted for the mushroom pizza with added pineapples, as well as the chicken parmesan and a side Caesar salad. The pizza was satisfying, but the chicken parmesan stole the show with its excellent flavor. The salad was nothing special, but it did the job of getting some vegetables in. Overall, it was a decent meal and I would definitely return for another quick bite.
My significant other and I visited Bellagio Spa & Salon in Vegas for pedicures last week. The atmosphere was very professional and clean, although they were in the midst of renovating, so the pedicure tubs were in the salon area. My technician did an excellent job making my feet smooth. However, they didn't have dryers, so I had to walk to lunch with slightly damp polish. Overall, it was a decent experience, but considering the price, I'm not sure if it was worth it.
