I've visited numerous bars on the Strip, and unfortunately, Gem Bar fell short of expectations. The bartenders, particularly the more experienced ones, exhibited a high degree of unfriendliness and rudeness. It's baffling why MGM continues to employ and pay these individuals handsomely. Despite my appreciation for Aria, I make an effort to steer clear of this bar. On a positive note, Frenchy provided excellent service during my visit today, displaying attentiveness and friendliness.
During my stay at the Signature, I initially viewed Delights - Gourmet Delicatessen purely as a convenient and efficient option. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The food was exceptionally fresh and flavorful. Everything from the pancakes to the eggs, potatoes, and oatmeal was quite satisfying. The decor featured some random but interesting LA-themed signs and artwork, adding a unique touch to the atmosphere. Since orders are placed at the counter, I didn't rate the service. Overall, a delightful culinary surprise!
Las Vegas boasts an abundance of these refreshing shops, making it hard to go wrong with any choice. Depending on the size you opt for, you might also walk away with a souvenir glass. Plus, I believe there's a discount on refills if you choose the souvenir-size option.
Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas offers an upscale atmosphere and sophisticated decor. However, during a visit, two friends experienced the theft of their bags in the food court. Unfortunately, the security staff was unable to assist without a police report. The hotel prides itself on luxury, but certain practices felt a bit exploitative. For example, requesting a set of plastic utensils costs $13. Additionally, the use of the fridge requires an extra fee of $50 per day. Be cautious around the mini bar, as moving any items—even if not consumed—can incur charges. Housekeeping could use improvement. A piece of hair was left on the shower wall for the entire 7-day stay, and the ice bag was never replaced. The shower floor, which features a pebble design, did not feel clean and had a residue-like texture. Overall, while the hotel boasts a lavish setting, some aspects of service and cleanliness were disappointing.
Overall, the Downtown Grand met expectations. The rooms were comfortable and the casino, though small, was enjoyable. Numerous food and drink deals were a plus. Would definitely consider staying here again. On the downside, the pool was a bit too warm, and the noise from the hotel and street was noticeable, though the provided white noise machine made it bearable. We didn't require housekeeping during our four-night stay, but were surprised that it wasn't offered. Checking in late at night using kiosks seemed like a time-saver, but unfortunately, they were all down. Although there were only two staff members checking people in, the process moved slowly, and a line formed quickly. However, checking out was smooth as the kiosks were operational then. Overall, despite a few minor issues, the stay was pleasant and we would definitely return.
We had friends visiting from out of town and decided to check out Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas. Since it was midday, the place wasn't busy. It always makes me chuckle when it's nearly empty, and they're still asking if we have a reservation 😀. Regardless, the greeter was friendly and seated us right away. Our server greeted us quickly and was very pleasant. She provided great suggestions and gave us plenty of time to browse the menu and make our selections. Once we placed our orders, the food arrived in no time. Everything was well-cooked and tasted delicious. No complaints from our group. The atmosphere is fantastic, capturing the true essence of a German beer hall. There's also a cool beer garden out back. This place must be absolutely bustling during Oktoberfest! Overall, it's a very authentic experience, and I definitely recommend it.
Arnold was absolutely the vibe! So friendly, had our whole table laughing, and created the most memorable experience we've ever had in Las Vegas! Every time I come here, I want him as my waiter! Wonderful service—Arnold was so personable, made excellent suggestions, accommodated dietary needs, and made us feel like family. Love him! As for the food, many options are simply delicious, with large portions and amazing drinks. Charles, the manager, was also a godsend with his professionalism and charisma. What a joy! I will forever love this restaurant, thanks to the fantastic employees and management.
Had an exceptional dining experience at Kusa Nori at Resorts World in Las Vegas! The food was absolutely delicious, with a remarkable freshness and beautiful presentation. The service was wonderful, with attentive and friendly staff who made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a fantastic meal in Las Vegas!
The bartender was incredibly friendly, and the drinks were fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! The bartender mentioned that the concept originated in Toronto, which made us feel right at home.
