The original building designed by architect Paul Revere Williams sets the stage for a fascinating tour of The Neon Museum in Las Vegas. The collection of old signs, including ones from movies, offers a nostalgic glimpse into the city's past. The historical context provided adds an educational element to the experience. A great outing for families looking to explore Las Vegas history.
Andre provided exceptional service during my recent visit to Las Vegas North Premium Outlets. I was able to purchase both American and French perfumes for a total of $80, thanks to a promotion that offered a better deal than the regular price for Elizabeth Arden products.
Alder & Birch receives a solid 4 stars from me. Our server was professional and nice. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and is well-suited for large parties. I tried the Rib Eye Steak, Asparagus, Baked Potato, Lamb Chops, Short Rib, House Chopped Salad, and Tempura Rock Shrimp. The steaks and lamb were perfectly cooked, with the asparagus adding a nice touch. While the creme brulee and baked potato were less impressive, I absolutely loved the Tempura Rock Shrimp and even returned the next day to have it again. On my second visit, I ordered the House Chopped Salad which was overdressed and had to be returned. Overall, the service was good and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back to Alder & Birch in the future.
During our visit to Carlos' n Charlie's in Las Vegas, we opted to dine on the patio despite the heat. Unfortunately, the fans were not positioned in a way that provided much relief from the high temperatures, and the misters were not in use. Our server was friendly, but did not check on us frequently. We tried a variety of dishes from the appetizer plate, with the wings and ribs standing out as flavorful highlights compared to the Mexican dishes.
Watching the line build up while the cashier or bartender chats with their coworker instead of assisting customers is frustrating. It seems more important for them to talk to their colleague than to provide service to patrons.
Javier's in Las Vegas can get quite loud, and our food was not served simultaneously, with one person in our party having to wait longer than the others. However, our server was exceptional and went above and beyond to accommodate allergies within our group. The food was decent overall.
