Redwood Steakhouse in Las Vegas boasts a spacious, well-lit, modern ambiance with all the glamour and glitz you'd expect in the City of Lights. Unlike most places where you can snack while watching fish in an aquarium, this steakhouse flips the script. Here, you're the shark, savoring delectable dishes like lobster, rib-eye, or carpaccio while people-watching, likening the observers to overnight-leftover snacks – a quirky but apt metaphor! Their menu is diverse, offering American classics like apple pie and unique twists such as a Chinese-American Hawaiian pie served with salted ice cream. I opted for their roast chicken, known as a house specialty, and enjoyed it immensely. We dined family-style and sampled a bit of everything, finding all dishes to be delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience accentuated by friendly and homely hospitality. Wishing everyone a blessed Ramadan as well.
We tried the Turkey Bacon wrap and the Reuben with a side of cheese fries. The wrap offered good value for the money, and we even had enough to take some back to our room. The Reuben was very tasty with generous portions of corned beef, though it could have used a bit more sauerkraut. Still, it was enjoyable. Note: Sides are extra and not included with the entrees. Despite this, the cheese fries were fairly good, though they could have been a bit crisper. The cheese sauce and fry seasoning were on point. The service was okay; our server checked on us a few times but could have been more attentive in refilling our water glasses and seemed to disappear often. The atmosphere was what you'd expect from a typical sports bar—numerous TVs showing a variety of programs, and it was quite loud. All in all, for two entrées and an additional side of fries, spending $50 did not feel worth it.
Great spot for a quick drink any time of day or night. The bartender was personable and had a good sense of humor. I didn't check out if they served food, so can't comment on that. The atmosphere was mostly tourists with a few rowdy characters here and there. Thanks to the excellent service, I'll definitely be coming back.
After hearing so much praise for Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens, we decided to visit for our recent anniversary dinner. Inspired by glowing online reviews and personal recommendations, we chose this spot and were thoroughly impressed—it exceeded all expectations. The restaurant boasts a cozy, warmly lit ambiance with unique character and exceptionally friendly staff. The food wasn't just good; it was amazing, both in quality and presentation. An impressive dining experience all around. Without a doubt, we will be returning for future anniversaries. For anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion, Hugo's Cellar comes highly recommended. And don't miss out on the huge strawberries at the end—they were a delightful treat!
We decided to try the Oyster Bar at Santa Fe Station today. The shrimp scampi was exceptional, featuring a beautiful presentation and the largest shrimp imaginable, loaded with garlic—simply delicious 😋. The fish and chips were equally impressive. The batter was light and airy, and the fries were perfectly crunchy. Truly top-notch. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Despite being busy, the staff remained extremely attentive. There was no wait time when we arrived around 4:30 pm on a Thursday, though it did get busier as we departed an hour later. Absolutely love this place. There are several dishes on the menu that look enticing. We'll definitely be back.
