Avoid going to Serenity Spa by Westgate in Las Vegas. My 50-minute massage only lasted 40 minutes, and the masseuse was extremely rough. I had to ask for less pressure multiple times, and her hands were freezing cold. The room felt drafty and not at all relaxing. On the positive side, the hot tubs were nice and I was able to enjoy them without any other guests in the spa. However, the showers were ice cold and never warmed up, so I ended up showering back at my hotel instead. I would recommend trying a different spa for a better experience. Aria Spa may be pricier, but it's worth it for a more enjoyable and high-quality treatment.
My stay at Green Valley Ranch was absolutely fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the amenities were top-notch. The pool area was beautiful and the on-site restaurants were delicious. I also enjoyed the casino and various entertainment options available at the resort. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend staying at Green Valley Ranch for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Las Vegas.
EXTRA Lounge in Las Vegas is a great spot to unwind and enjoy some awesome 80's and 90's music. The only downside is that the sound level is disappointingly low. Despite being situated in the heart of the casino floor, the bands are fantastic and the staff is friendly. Just wish they would turn up the volume a few notches.
Rosina is definitely one of the best little lounges in Vegas. I recently attended a business reception there for the second time and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a pre-prohibition high-end bar and lounge, with perfect lighting and seating areas. The staff and bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable and some of the best I've encountered on the strip. They are skilled at making a wide variety of drinks with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend trying anything with their fresh pressed ginger juice. Keep in mind that there is a $100 minimum spend for a small table, but it's well worth it. You won't be disappointed at Rosina.
The accommodations at The M Resort are truly magnificent. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. A favorite among locals, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit. The pool area is a highlight for me - a perfect place to relax, beat the heat, and enjoy some good music with a drink in hand.
Jaleo in Las Vegas exceeded my expectations for authentic Spanish tapas. The contemporary atmosphere, upbeat music, and impeccable service created a fantastic dining experience. The variety of dishes we tried were all delicious, but my favorites were the shaved fennel salad, grilled asparagus, octopus, and the vegetables with fried egg. The olive oil cake with olive oil ice cream, lemon curd, and candied grapefruit was the perfect ending to a memorable meal. Don't miss out on this culinary gem on the Strip.
I'm a big fan of the jambalaya at Yard House! The service is always attentive and I appreciate the way they have a system in place to easily get assistance if needed. The manager is quick to correct any orders or overcharges. The pricing is fair and the portion sizes are generous, making it a good value overall. I have been consistently impressed with the food quality and service every time I visit.
