I recently visited the TGI Fridays at Aliante in Las Vegas two days in a row and ordered the Thai Mango Salad. Unfortunately, both salads did not look like the ones in the photos. The lettuce overwhelmed the spring mix and there were only a few pieces of red & napa cabbages, carrots, diced mango, fresh herb mix, and candied pecans in a Sweet Heat Mango Vinaigrette. On the first day, my salad did not have any candied pecans and my online order was delayed by over 30 minutes. The second day, the salad was a different portion and was missing lime and the mango vinaigrette. I had to go back to the restaurant to get the dressing. Overall, the food was inconsistent, the service was slow, and the mango salad lacked mangoes. However, the manager was very professional and provided good service when I returned to get the salad dressing.
FlyOver Las Vegas is a fantastic attraction to check out. You get to choose which flyover experience you want to do and what time slot works best for you. I opted for the Wonders of America West and was not disappointed. The seats were comfy, and the room temperature was just right. The simulation was so realistic that it actually scared me at times, making me feel like I was really flying. It's a fun experience overall, and I'm already looking forward to going back and trying out a package to see all the different flyovers.
If you find yourself in need of a snack and don't want to venture far from your hotel, Prendi is a convenient option. The service I received was prompt and friendly, which was a plus. The menu includes focaccia, sandwiches, salads, gelato, and cookies. I tried one of the focaccia pizzas and found it to be mediocre at best, especially considering the price ($10) for a smaller portion. If you're on the hunt for delicious pizza, there are better options available on the Strip. However, the dessert selection at Prendi does look appealing.
I highly recommend the Wild West Horseback Adventures sunset ride to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Nevada in a unique and memorable way. Our guide picked us up from our hotel on the Las Vegas strip and made the trip out to the desert enjoyable and informative. The delicious meal provided at the end of the ride was a nice touch. The staff accompanying us on the ride were all knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Hector in particular was attentive and offered to take pictures multiple times. The experience was a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and romance, making it one of the highlights of our Las Vegas trip. Wild West Horseback Adventures is a top-notch tour company that provides excellent service and quality. If you're interested in a horseback riding tour in Nevada, don't hesitate to book with them. You won't be disappointed.
The WuHu Noodle at the Silverton Casino is a solid option for a casual meal. The Kung Pao Shrimp I ordered lacked flavor and had an abundance of bell peppers and onions, but my dining companion really enjoyed the orange chicken. It's worth noting that there is a $3 service charge included in the bill, so tipping is not necessary. The setup is more of a self-service style, as you grab your own drinks and utensils, and no one waits on your table. Overall, WuHu Noodle offers decent food in a no-frills setting.
The amenities at Spa Aquae are nice and I'm happy to see they have improved. It would be a nice touch to have a swimsuit ringer available. The only downside is the noise level - it's a spa and should be treated as such, not a day club. I had a massage with Z and they were fantastic. The massage was so relaxing with perfect pressure, minimal talking, and Z was a true professional. Thank you!
