During a recent visit to Las Vegas, I had the opportunity to dine at International Smoke, conveniently located in my hotel. After hearing good things about the restaurant, I made reservations for dinner with my companion. The service was top-notch from the moment we arrived. Although I initially planned on ordering the ribs, I was enticed by the prime rib on the menu. My companion opted for the sea bass. When my prime rib arrived, I was disappointed to find it fatty and smaller than the advertised 16oz portion. After expressing my concerns to the staff, they quickly replaced it with a much more visually appealing piece. My companion, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed their sea bass. Despite the improved presentation, I found the smoky flavor of the prime rib to be too overpowering for my liking. However, my companion had a positive experience with their sea bass. If you enjoy a strong smoky taste, International Smoke may be worth a try. Personally, I may choose to dine elsewhere in the future. While the service was excellent and my companion's meal was satisfying, the overwhelming smokiness of the prime rib took away from my overall dining experience.
Posh Burger in Las Vegas offers great burgers, fries, milkshakes, and onion rings. The counter service is efficient and there are plenty of tables nearby. Located inside the beautiful Aria Resort and Casino, we highly recommend Posh Burger for a delicious burger on the strip.
A group of twelve of us had an exceptional experience at Estiatoria Milos in Las Vegas. The salt crusted and baked fish was incredibly soft and flaky, we ended up ordering two to share with the group. The appetizers were delicious and plentiful, especially the octopus - we definitely wanted more!
Otoro at the old Mirage (inside Hard Rock) is an amazing restaurant. The skewers, especially the Seabass, were all delicious. The Rock appetizer, a table side hot stone for grilled meats, was interesting. The sushi was just okay, so I would skip it next time. The atmosphere is great for a date, and the service was prompt. I would definitely go back again.
Seabreeze Cafe is a popular breakfast spot near Mandalay Bay, which means there is often a line if you don't get there early. If you're lucky enough to snag a table by the window, you'll at least have some natural light. The background music might give you nightclub vibes, but the servers are all pretty enthusiastic (or possibly just really good at faking it). The food is decent overall - the salmon can be a bit salty, but still edible when mixed with the Benedict eggs and muffin bread. The ribs are a solid choice and the fruit bowl is a healthy option. I was pleasantly surprised when they served avocado, even though it's not on the menu. They charged around $4 for half an avocado, which helped balance out the saltiness of the salmon. The Americano coffee was good too.
I wasn't impressed with this pizzeria. They only sell whole pizzas, which can be pricey for what feels like an expensive cracker with toppings. The location inside Circus Circus is unique, but the high prices make it hard to justify. If you're looking for a better value, consider grabbing food from the nearby food court instead. They do offer Pepsi products and wings on the menu if that's more your style.
The lanes at South Point Bowling Center are in good condition, but the staff can be frustrating to deal with. Unfortunately, they do not accept reservations, which means that you may have to wait for a lane to become available. On multiple occasions, we were given an estimated wait time of 30 minutes, only to find that no numbers had been called and many lanes were unoccupied.
Highly recommend checking out Electra Cocktail Club in the Venetian! Visited on a weekday evening and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. The place has excellent TV screens along one wall, perfect for watching a game. The cocktails we tried were top-notch and delicious. Unfortunately, we did not sample any food so I cannot provide a review on that. Overall, a great spot for drinks and ambiance.
The Waldorf Astoria Spa in Las Vegas is absolutely stunning and incredibly relaxing. When you arrive for your treatment appointment, you are greeted with a choice of bubbly, tea, or water. You have access to their impressive facilities before or after your treatment, including steam and sauna rooms, specialty pressure showers, a hot tub, and comfy relaxation beds. The snack bar offers delicious treats such as fresh fruit, infused waters, and heavenly oat bars. The spa also boasts a salon area with Balmain products for sale, complete with hairdryers, hair straighteners, and high-quality brushes and combs. Overall, this spa provides a luxurious and indulgent relaxation experience in the heart of Las Vegas.
Had a wonderful dining experience at Restaurant Guy Savoy this week. The tasting menu was exceptional, with each course being delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and truly skilled at what they do. The non-alcoholic champagne was a great addition to the meal. Despite there being fewer courses, the menu did not disappoint and stayed true to the restaurant's fine dining roots. The waygu A5 was incredibly tender, the truffle soup was indulgent, and the sauces were rich and full of flavor. And of course, they are still serving their amazing bread with that delicious butter. The pastry chef impressed with their dessert creations. Treating myself at this restaurant in Vegas was definitely worth it.
