For a visit to Chickie's & Pete's in Las Vegas, I'd suggest sticking to drinks rather than food. I was eager to try the Milinese Sandwich, especially after the bartender recommended it. When the server, Maria G, asked if I wanted the olive mix on the sandwich or on the side, I chose to have it on the sandwich because I love olives. However, when the sandwich arrived, I couldn't taste them at all. Instead of offering an additional side of the olive mix or explaining that it was blended into the sauce, Maria took the dish to the back for the kitchen to remake it. Unfortunately, the second version was inedible, with so much sauce that it was dripping off the sides. While they did provide extra olive mix, it was disappointing. The original sandwich, although flawed, was better. Maria G had the sandwich removed from the bill, but her demeanor was curt. She reminded me of her initial question in a way that came across as unhelpful, suggesting a need for better knowledge of the menu. In a customer service role, a polite and informative approach is key.
Despite many trips to Green Valley, this was our first time at Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. From the moment we walked in, the attentive customer service made a strong impression. We dined during happy hour and were impressed by the wide variety of menu options. The real standouts, though, were the exceptional quality of the food and its thoughtful presentation—truly top-notch. The prices were very reasonable, delivering great value for the experience. The ambiance was warm, fresh, bright, and inviting, and the restaurant's cleanliness exceeded expectations, enhancing our overall enjoyment. Highly recommended, and there's already a desire to return for another visit.
Tried out the cheeseburger special at Lucky Penny for just $5.99 with family, and you really can't beat that price! The cheeseburger was generously sized, tasted great, and arrived hot, just like the fries. On the downside, the service was quite slow; it took around 30 minutes to receive four burgers, despite not requesting any customizations. The place was full, but there was no wait outside; it seemed everyone was just waiting for their food. They also ran out of mayonnaise by 6:30 PM on a Friday. Overall, service was adequate.
Dining at X Pot in Las Vegas was truly a first-class experience! The staff was incredibly helpful for new guests, making the night smooth and enjoyable. The presentation was stunning, and the food surpassed expectations. We opted for the Chef's Tasting Menu for four, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable culinary experiences. Well done!
This place is absolutely fantastic! They present an impressive range of small plates inspired by a variety of Asian cuisines. It’s a fusion concept, yet the flavors remain authentic. The lamb chops and lobster fried rice were exceptional, and the dumplings were delightful. Every dish looks as amazing as it tastes. Highly recommended for anyone eager to explore unique and flavorful dishes!
We made reservations a couple of weeks in advance for patio seating, which requires a minimum spend of $175 per person, to enjoy a scenic view of the fountains during our anniversary celebration. Upon arrival, we were placed in a corner with a partially obstructed view of the fountains, despite the possibility of other tables offering better vistas. The service, however, was excellent; our server was courteous, attentive, and even provided us with some complimentary items after initially forgetting a soup. The food was quite good as well. For those considering dining here, it's important to be aware of potential issues. We anticipated our bill to be between $400 and $500, including tip, based on our planned orders. However, it totaled over $700, which seemed unreasonable given the less-than-perfect view and the food quality not justifying such a high price. Our waiter mentioned specials available for a "small bump" in price, and unexpected charges for items like water and suggested sides contributed to the cost. Additionally, a gratuity exceeding $100 was added automatically, leaving us no say in the matter. If you choose to dine here, be clear about your order and avoid specials not listed on the menu, as the costs can escalate quickly. I regret not requesting a better table with a proper fountain view, especially after spending over $700 for a dinner for two. For that price, a more rewarding experience might be found elsewhere, such as in Dubai.
