At Alder & Birch in Las Vegas, we were warmly greeted and our server, Mark F, provided excellent service. Despite the initial assumption due to our casual attire, the atmosphere was delightful. Mark was very attentive to dietary restrictions, especially for my companion with allergies. While the prices were a bit high, the overall experience was fantastic. Next time, I definitely plan on trying out their desserts.
Hawthorn Grill is a great spot for Happy Hour, with delicious menu items and great deals during restaurant week. The truffle fries were particularly impressive, crispy potato wedges that were absolutely delicious. The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly and the cherry tart dessert was to die for. The service was also fantastic, making for a delightful dining experience overall.
Boulder City Golf Course is a solid choice for a round of golf without breaking the bank. While the fairways may be a bit rough and the greens slightly challenging, the course's wide open layout makes it nearly impossible to lose a ball. With a Sunday rate of $40 for 18 holes, it's a budget-friendly option in Las Vegas.
Lucille's BBQ in Las Vegas is a fun spot with delicious barbecue options. The table's favorite was definitely the St. Louis and beef ribs - they were both top-notch. The brisket was decent, while the mac and cheese was tasty. However, the collard greens could have been warmer. The rib tips and deviled eggs were both quite good. Don't forget to try the delicious biscuits and butter. Our waiter, Zach, was friendly and attentive, and the bartender, Francisco, was fantastic. Overall, Lucille's BBQ provided a solid food experience.
This Taco Bell Cantina in Las Vegas is fantastic. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the food is fresh. I will definitely be returning next time I visit Vegas.
The staff at Lucky Bar in Las Vegas were incredibly rude and provided poor service during my visit. A waitress told us it was okay for our friends to bring in pizza from the place across the hall, but a bartender aggressively denied them entry, citing a sign. When one of us approached the bartender to clarify the situation, he responded with profanity and threatened to call security. Despite our group remaining calm and respectful, the bartender continued to be disrespectful. The waitress did not address the issue with the bartender and instead stopped serving our table altogether. Overall, our experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the staff at Lucky Bar.
Area 15 is a truly unique and memorable experience, with a world reminiscent of Ratchet and Clank or the Stray video game. Walking around and exploring the area is free and entertaining, but the activities can add up in price. Packages are available, but can be pricy. The staff is friendly and willing to help with photos in the photogenic areas. The restaurant inside looks interesting with projected flames on the walls and there is a bar nearby under an illuminating tree. Additionally, there is a spray-on tattoo station with a variety of styles and various gift shops selling souvenirs, retro candy, toys, and rave gear. Area15 offers a lot to do and is a fun place to spend time.
