Our experience at Drenched Bar & Grill in Las Vegas was quite disappointing. Our server, Jacqulyn, seemed inattentive and unresponsive. After we were seated, she looked our way several times but never approached. Upon requesting a menu, we were told none were available because they were at the cabanas, and we could go inside to find one. This was problematic as one of our party uses a walker. After some frustration, she eventually offered to bring a menu, but it took around 15 minutes, by which time we had already gone inside and taken a picture of the menu ourselves. Additionally, we encountered issues with our drink order. We requested a strawberry piña colada but received a regular piña colada instead, with no mention of the lack of strawberry. It took 25 minutes just to get a cup of water. When we went in to check on our order, we found her chatting, with our order sitting there unserved. We won’t be returning.
We dined at Grand Lux Cafe at the Palazzo in Las Vegas on two occasions. The food was outstanding, and the service equally impressive. I would definitely choose to eat here again without hesitation. It’s open until 6am, making it an ideal spot for a delicious late-night meal. Their diverse menu offers a variety of global cuisine. Fantastic for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a late-night bite.
The Overlook Grill at the Cosmopolitan Casino offers a delightful dining experience, with their avocado toast being a true highlight. Situated near the Cosmopolitan pool, the grill provides an ideal spot for a casual yet delicious meal. The avocado toast is expertly prepared with perfectly ripe avocados generously spread over toasted artisan bread. Fresh toppings and two sizable poached eggs elevate the dish, making it a standout choice for any meal. The flavors are well-balanced and the texture is just right, with a satisfying crunch from the toast and creamy richness from the avocado. The accompanying potatoes are large, with a perfect balance of crunch and softness. It’s a simple dish done exceptionally well, showcasing the Overlook Grill's attention to detail.
I've traveled extensively and reserve 5-star ratings for only the best experiences. Morimoto Las Vegas unquestionably earned it! Initially, we planned for a light meal, but then came the desserts! I just had to highlight them. The Cheesecake with Blood Orange Sorbet was an incredible combination—an explosion of flavors that matched perfectly. As for the chocolate dessert, let's just say it's worth seeing for yourself. A delightful show and taste—absolutely unforgettable!
If you're looking for a spot away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip, M Bar in Las Vegas is the perfect choice. The suites are top-notch, with fantastic dining options and stunning views. I booked a suite for a special celebration and had the pleasure of working with Blanca at the front desk. She was exceptionally informative about the check-in process, potential for early access, and provided all the details needed to ensure everything went smoothly, even if the venue was busy. Blanca's kindness and assistance reaffirmed that booking the Loft suite here was a great decision. We can't wait to celebrate at the M!
Brunch at Bouchon on Sunday morning was a delightful experience in a charming setting. Our table indulged in a variety of pastries and lattes. The group unanimously loved the almond croissant, though the cheese danish, regular croissant, and chocolate croissant were also quite enjoyable. We sampled the chicken and waffles, which leaned more towards savory flavors. The roasted chicken with gravy was notably more flavorful than the waffles themselves. The crab eggs Benedict stood out as a superior choice, surpassing the waffles in taste. Service was commendable, with an attentive waiter ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
The MGM Grand Buffet was a big disappointment. It's not worth your time. I visited specifically for the crab legs, only to find out they are only available on major holidays. At $50 per person, it's overpriced. If you're looking for basic items like chicken, pizza, and mashed potatoes, you'd be better off going to Golden Corral. For a buffet in a prominent casino hotel, it falls short of expectations.
