I visited this sports bar after attending a Knights game and taking the RTC bus ($4.00 RTC). It's a great spot to gamble and enjoy drinks. In the past, I've encountered a rude bartender, but during my recent visit, I had an amazing bartender named Buddha. Despite being busy, he was attentive and checked on me multiple times. I think he may have been covering a break or ending his shift. His service was exceptional and I had to give him a shout out. Thank you, Buddha!
Had lunch at Royal Britannia Gastropub in Las Vegas and found it to be a typical pub with okay service and atmosphere. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak for $21.95 which had grilled ribeye, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and melted provolone cheese on a toasted hoagie roll. The ingredients were decent but the roll was dry and hard. The Pub Burger for $21.95 was a half-pound house blend burger with bacon, fried egg, sautéed onions, provolone, beer mustard, lettuce, and brioche bun. It had good flavor and was as expected. The Pub Wings for $17.95 were tossed in teriyaki sauce, but unfortunately they were dry and burned. The Britannia Banger Bites for $14.95 were crispy garlic mashed potato bites with mild sausage, sharp cheddar, and stout beer gravy. They were described as meh and super salty. To drink, we ordered the Winter Fog cocktail for $18, made with vodka, elderflower, fig, and cranberry. The elegant floral cocktail had a cool table-side presentation with a fog bubble and tasted great.
Cyber Quest in Las Vegas is a great arcade with good value. They offer a military package for $25 and have a well-stocked prize section with plenty of options for redemption, including claw games and ticket games. The staff is friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant experience for visitors of all ages. It's a great spot to bring the kids for some fun, as there are games suitable for children ranging from 2-11 years old. They also offer deals and packages for kids with good grades, so don't forget to bring those report cards during the school year.
Visited Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill during Memorial Day Weekend for the Dead & Company shows. After one of the concerts, we indulged in the Shellfish Tower which was filled with oysters, mussels, shrimp, crab, and lobster - a truly amazing meal with delicious flavors and generous portions. We also tried the Crispy Polenta as an appetizer, which was served with a scrumptious truffle mayonnaise. The Banana Rum Old Fashioned we ordered for drinks was unlike any old fashioned we've had before, it was fantastic. Overall, this was a perfect spot for a post-concert meal. PROS: Convenient location right on the corner as you exit The Sphere into The Venetian, great for a quick break. The staff were impeccable and the cozy, dim atmosphere was ideal for people-watching in Vegas while enjoying exceptional food and drinks. CONS: Prices may be on the higher end for some, can get noisy with concert crowds nearby, and there is a popular Instagram spot nearby which can draw some attention. OVERALL: Highly recommend this spot. The menu offers excellent choices and the staff are very accommodating. Whether you're looking for a pre- or post-concert meal, or just a quick stop in the bustling Venetian, Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill is worth a visit.
