Shady Grove Lounge

I attended the Cider Fest in October 2023, drawn by the allure of this event. Upon arrival, I discovered a modest selection of four ciders available for tasting. Among them, the strawberry cider from Sweden stood out as a personal favorite. Its delightful resemblance to juice and exquisite taste left a lasting impression. I highly recommend giving it a try! However, I must admit that I had hoped for a more extensive range of activities for an event labeled as a festival. In reality, it was more of a casual opportunity to sample seasonal menu offerings rather than a grand celebration as the name suggests. Nonetheless, the venue itself exuded charm, with its decor changing according to the holiday. The service provided was exceptionally friendly and efficient. Prices were average and reasonable, and ambience was chill and welcoming.

Once you solve their game or puzzle, you can enter to win a lottery type thing! You also get a free glass for buying the package! Super fun! It’s also decorated really fun! Try to find all the elves! Also, the bartender was super helpful, very nice, and very fast! Can’t wait to go again next year during Christmas!

We were very excited to check out the holiday pop up bar, "Bad Elf". Great holiday drink menu and free shot on Thursdays with your ugly sweater! Service was NOT so great! Waited a very long time to get some help and then the drinks we ordered were given to someone else who never ordered! 2nd time attempting an order bartender said she would bring our drinks over and after about 45 minutes was serving someone that had just walked in AND we NEVER got our order . Needless to say we will not be back.

Went in with my ID that was a little bent. The bartender LISA called security to check my ID and got me kicked out. Funny thing is that the security even knew how “shady” she was and told me she goes to the extreme with people she doesn’t approve of and recommended to go to another bar in the same casino. Family members stayed behind at the bar and she never offered them another drink and was totally snobby. Very poor customer service! Silverton lost a whole lot of customers 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great hideaway bar with a tree stump seat, if you're lucky to get it. Play at the bar machines and get free drinks.
