The D Bar

We didn't pre-book and had originally reserved at another spot. However, we got good value considering the location and weekend rates. The staff was friendly and fun. Bacon Nation is a fantastic choice for brunch! The rooms can be loud due to a stage right next to the casino on Fremont, but that was okay since we were also up late.

The room is very spacious and comfortable, with firm beds that we found quite pleasant. However, the bathroom sink drains very slowly, which was a minor inconvenience. The check-in process and signing up for gamblers/rewards cards were a bit slow, but a highlight was receiving $5 in free slots play and $50 each in table play through a Spirit Airlines promotion—definitely an exciting perk! The only downside is the prevalent smoking on the casino floor, reminiscent of the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. Additionally, the smell of pot is noticeable, given its legality here. Overall, our stay has been great, and we would return to The D!

My recent stay at The D Bar was extremely disappointing. Upon arriving in our room, I noticed that one of the beds had sheets and a blanket with what appeared to be blood stains. The front desk didn't apologize but did send someone to change the bedding. Later that day, I discovered that some of my belongings were missing, including cash, jewelry, and even my deodorant. I reported the theft to the front desk, and after a less-than-helpful initial interaction with security, the supervisor stepped in and conducted an investigation. The response from staff remained lackluster, with the front desk supervisor trying to shift blame to the manager of housekeeping, who never showed up to address the situation. In the end, my friend who booked the room received a refund on the hotel fees, and we were forced to check out a night early. This left us scrambling to find alternative accommodations at the last minute. Overall, I would not recommend staying at The D Bar and would not return in the future.

I always have a good time at The D Bar. The casino offers two floors of gaming and the staff is friendly. Recently, they added a new restaurant which was a nice addition since their food selection was limited before. The rooms are average, some are better than others, but overall could use an update as they feel a bit dated. It's strange that even though their rewards card is linked to other casinos, like Circa and Golden Gate, I only receive free play valid for The D Bar. It seems like my play at Circa doesn't count towards anything on my rewards account, which is a bit disappointing.

My experience at The D was fantastic. The service was exceptional, the location is convenient, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The valet parking was a nice touch and getting an Uber was quick and easy. Being on Fremont was a great bonus. Overall, my expectations were exceeded and I will definitely be staying here again.

There's definitely something special about The D Bar. The staff here made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Whether it was the dealers, security, cocktail servers, or front desk staff, everyone was friendly and welcoming. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be coming back to patronize The D. 5 stars!
